Your position will be putting off candidates bud. If things go wrong this weekend, you could be 10pts adrift and top managers (no matter what you pay them) will be very reluctant to take on the job.

Whoever gets the job will know they must take a minimum of 7pts from your next three home games or you will be fucked

Presuming there’s even an ounce of truth to that, if they are to make a marquee signing it should be someone aged 25-29 and in prime of their career. But I would be amazed if Bellingham went there in all honesty, I think they’d have to pay him double what Liverpool are willing to pay him for him to turn them down and go to the vermin.

The only way he’d end up at Newcastle would be if they offered him a truly ridiculous salary within a 4-5 year contract.

No chance. We won't spend 85m on one player. We need to improve the team with as many players as possible. I'd imagine we will be looking at the 15-20m per player range. Perhaps some cheaper experience on high wages like Ramsey.

We are years off being able to spend big on a youth.
