Racism at Yorkshire CCC

Get with the times and read the f***ing room Yorkshire.

The silence from the members is deafening as well BTW, not that I'd expect anything else from most of them

Spoke with a couple of older lads at Rotherham who were Yorkshire fans. One was pissed off like me, one just shrugged his shoulders

Disgraceful statements tbh, and hope the ECB come down hard on those involved in the actions and decision making

So the recommendation was to punish him for saying Zimbo but claim the word p**i was banter.

Unreal
Its scarcely believable! If the ECB don't step in then every anti racism campaign they run with in the future will be an completely meaningless and farcical at the same time.

Looking forward michael vaughan speaking out against this.

Put it this way if a spectator shouted "p**i at a cricketer at Headingley next season they would be banned by YCCC, arrested, criminal record and likely lose their job..............

It seems every day more breaks about this, the worse it gets

Vaughan

Yeah but remember the millionaire, white sportsman that he is - with a platform to say what he likes on TV, radio and printed media - isn't privileged.

Apologies for sounding like a stuck record, but why isn't it being covered by either the BBC or Sky? What is the point of having all these sports journalists if none of them can do their job, this should be the leading sports story at the moment. No way should this story be just covered by f***ing Cricinfo and Wisden (although both have done great work keeping the story alive).
