I can remember reading Harry Pearson's famous book "The Far Corner" when he is talking to the local shopkeeper who is a NUFC fan about the impending League title until Keegan. The shopkeeper pulls a face and when HP asks him why he is so against such success he says "the fans will be insufferable". They are even worse now.

There’s been a much bigger backlash here though than there was for City or PSG. If the project keeps putting bad publicity their way then they’ll ditch it. The whole point of it is to try and cover up what they’ve done through sport. If all they achieve is a much wider recognition of stuff like Khashoggi then they’ll run a mile.

I would rather spend an age battling the rebuild out of League 1 than have these lot anywhere near us. At what cost are morals sold.

they are buying a club for pr reasons..so thepublic perception of them is what matters..but thats in the broad sense..it doesnt matter what match going fans think..

nah, they have got their foot in the door , just picked on the mags as a conduit as they knew mags were desperate.

ffp will change/be removed , prem games will go abroad, super league will happen.
