From the article: We are not the ones who decide who is allowed to make investments in the UK, specifically (in this instance) who is allowed to buy a Premier League club. As Garth Crooks says, that is down to ‘our leaders’ (Premier League etc) and ‘elected officials’ (the Government).

Conveniently forgetting to mention the 113,000 signature petition they took to parliament to beg for the takeover to be allowed. And the way they subsequently welocomed the bastards with open arms, worshipping them like gods.

Report of game in Mirror was pretty damning of them on about how far they’ve fallen since they were everyone’s favourite second club (I know 🙄) but how now they are hated and they will get the same reception at every ground.
Wasn’t a NE journo who reported on the game, I suspect when it is a NE journo they’ll continue with their sycophantic words.
But when it isn’t there might just be a few home truths told
