Without Wilson and Saint Maximin you are struggling. Be worthwhile for the big 6 to offer them silly money in January to massively increase your chances of relegation and fuck up your FFP situation. They wouldn’t even have to offer a big transfer fee as if ISIS turned it down it would massively distract the players anyway.

Coleman got abuse off one person as shown on Netflix - as a tit for tat response to the shite that 'wor' Bobby endured, its like comparing Gemma Collins with Kelly Brooke.

Newcastle will have to pay over the odds and be lumbered with them for a long time. Like someone already posted, there’s a lot of rich clubs so it’s not like they can just buy success. They have to have a 10 year+ plan and get more right than wrong.

Aye, it's funny how none of this was reported by Bruce or anyone else at the time. It's a pretty significant accusation that would have been news at the time. It just seems to have escaped everyone's memory forever. Except Bruce who suddenly 'remembered' it just as he signed for the mags and needed to get them on side.

Funny that.

Calm down lad, all mangers who get the sack receive abuse just prior to it, it’s par for the course. It was the level of abuse Bruce received that was unacceptable. He was abused from the day he signed and even abused when he guided a poor squad to 13th, mainly because he followed your darling Rafa.
 
I think they’ll probably go down this season. I think Chelsea will beat them at the weekend and there can’t be many teams that have stayed up after failing to win any of their first 10 games.

Assuming they get back up at the first attempt, I can’t see a newly promoted side challenging for a top 6 finish, even with a load of money behind them.

Basically, I think it could well be 2 and a half years before they’re in a position to reach a level that is significantly better than the level Alan Pardew had them at, and if I recall correctly the Pardew era was unbearable for them.

The world is an increasingly volatile place - who knows where we’ll be at in 2.5 years? Football seems a bit unstable too, after the effects of covid - international tournaments are being completely reshaped, and there was the attempt at a Super League.

For all their talk of envy, I don’t see much to be envious of just yet. They’re in a relegation battle with a lower league manager in charge, it could be years before they can do anything, and they are justifiably having abuse and disdain heaped on them from all angles having sold their souls to some of the worst people on the planet. If I was going to pick a club to feel jealous of, I think I’d probably go for Liverpool at the moment - it certainly wouldn’t be the mags.

Probably best if we don't refer to them as isis. No link has ever been proved and it muddies the waters. Pull them on their human rights record by all means but let's not run the risk of being accused of racism

With those types of accusations in circulation (and that have been given credence by western intelligence services) it really is incredible that the Premier League waved this takeover through.

It’s also absolutely insane that the likes of Caulkin, Bird, Edwards, Hope et al are welcoming of the takeover given their past protestations about the previous owners dubious business practices. Because of their excitement and allegiances to the club they’ve lost sight of the issue here. Not one of them has said that this takeover shouldn’t be allowed.
