Without actually reading 15 pages of nothing what is PIF? Probably only took over the NUFC to get rid of that squashy nose.
PIF is the organisation that owns NUFC, they’re widely accepted (apart for the Premier league) to be a puppet company for the Saudi state.

Lineker is a well known left winger, socialist and Labour voter. Fair play to him for breaking the sports media block on mentioning it. If he worked for Sky or BT anymore he would be sacked as they will protect their brand till the end. Anything that reflects badly on the premier league, reflects badly on them and threatens their investment in it. The BBC has a more lenient and broader approach and rightly so. I note they stopped at showing the banner but I have no doubt there was a lot of debate in the studio prior to broadcast as to what to say and I am convinced Lineker would have been saying 'you are not going to stop me mentioning it'.

Did Lineker say what was on the banner or just suggest it was illegal hence the investigation?

Not just a puppet company, the whole kingdoms investment fund basically.

Didn't say, just mentioned banner and police looking into it and more details on the BBC website

I’ll be amazed if someone gets done for racism for the banner..there’s nothing on there that isn’t true..I mean if it happens at another ground are the police going to go in and remove the banner..be hell on if that happens.

f***ing hell. I'd be interested to hear Liverpools fans thoughts on that.

@LiverBird?
I only just saw the article and was confused until the bold bit at the end.

f***ing hell. Quite disgusting that the thought to even compare the two situations even came into someones mind.

Never had any issues with Newcastle fans I should say most I have met have been great.

I guess I should start to prepare for the worst and assume most I will meet now will be utter *****

The way that the Mags as a collective fanbase have so gleefully sold their soul to one of the most barbaric regimes on the planet would be hilarious if it wasn't so pitiful and pathetic.
It’s really sad. Might be an unpopular opinion on here but I think Newcastle is a great old club, a ‘proper’ club and they’ve absolutely thrown that down the toilet

I think it’s a generational thing. Mags who are maybe 40+ will be alright because they grew up when they were utterly dogshit.

Anyone my age grew up in the keegan era and as a result have a huge chip on their shoulders. Older Mags tend to be alright in my experience.

it’s great to live in a country that allows free speech such as the palace fans banner.

The football community has ever right to speak out
I think it could become common at away games for Newcastle to have this type of protest aimed at them.

Scousers are not happy at all.
From RAWK
Abramovich and Abu Dhabi should have been shown the red card from the off. It's those running football that have allowed this catastrophic shitshow to take over the top flight.

Newcasoil are just reaping what you sow when you align yourself with and defend fascistic murderers.

Sorry 'Mags' but you are now the most despised club on the planet, alongside Abu Dhabi FC, Paris St. Qatar and Abramovich FC. Shit stains who deserve every bit of flak they receive. The useful idiots that are the fanbases of those sportswash vehicles should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves, but aren't.

When you put your head above the parapet and welcome murderers with open arms, don't be surprised if someone lops your head straight off. A bit like how many Saudi citizens feel themselves, just because they are gay or don't agree with their fascistic rulers. All they want is a bit of respect and a peaceful life, but risk being murdered because of it. A little bit of abuse from opposition fans and human rights groups is surely nothing in comparison, you whingeing, whining, snivelling, odious little sportswash enablers.
