Imagine a family member of yours was one of the 97, how on this earth would you reel seeing Newcastle supporters likening their struggles to yours?
It’s despicable and unfathomable.

I’m no fan of Liverpool or their supporters, as I’m sure many aren’t, but I’d imagine this will unite many who were not fans of Liverpool.

They have literally no comprehension or concept of how they think they are being perceived .

And what’s sad for me, is that I’m sure there are some really good Mag fans, (there are lots, follow there team, just like us) that have fallen for the propaganda and are so sports washed they’ll defend anything their owners do.

That reply today to the tweet posted where a Mag said, “well murders happen all the time” or words to that affect, in reply to a protest against Kashoggi’s murder, when he had a picture of his son in his profile picture broke my heart.

The way that the Mags as a collective fanbase have so gleefully sold their soul to one of the most barbaric regimes on the planet would be hilarious if it wasn't so pitiful and pathetic.
We'd have happily sold our soul if in a similar situation.

It’s absolutely mind blowing. Only an incredibly strong sense of entitlement could drown out thoughts of “Am I being incredibly disrespectful here”

We’re not just talking about the writer of the article but whoever put that up on a website and thought it was fit to read until a Twitter backlash forced them to retract it
Was the Twitter backlash from Newcastle supporters? I hope for their sake it was but I’m doubtful.

Great points Janey, the thing I still find it astonishing that there has been little or no condemnation of the behaviour of their fan base from decent, ordinary mags.

Imagine being sat or stood next to someone at the match wearing a tea towel or in mock Arab dress?! We’re taking about grown men and women here!!

There is no way any other fanbase would go on like these daft knackers have, absolutely embarrassing and no one in their support is willing to call it out.

Disappointing that the police have even issued a statement tbh. There's nothing racist about the banner whatsoever. It seems pretty much spot on. Really hope other clubs are allowed to display similar ; it'll be a sad day for the country if people are told to stop criticising a barbaric, tyrannical regime. Maybe they should start by not being such a set of c unts

Absolutely. The thing is I’ve recovered horribly mutilated victims of accidents and it’s horrendous, I had a foot come off in my hand once trying to free a poor buggers body from a rtc. One of the lads had to look for someone’s head after it came off in a bike crash. This shit doesn’t leave you. The thought that their owners are purposely chopping up people or decapitating them to silence them is beyond horrific. The stupid fuckers think we’re jealous. This isn’t going to end well for them or the premier league. Bastards.

My mate lost his uncle. I’m sure he’ll be thrilled. Bastards
I couldnt even contemplate some of the horrors you’ve seen, and I don’t pretend I could even begin to stomach it, any rescue service, fire, paramedic, police have my full respect.

accidents or one off awful incidents are bad enough, but there is no accident with this lot, it’s murder, pure and simple.
Im just sickened

@janey - that was the one I was on about yesterday. Normal fella, works in the NHS, married with a kid and he post "well murders happen all the time". Astonishing.
