Just watched the whole press thing on nufc.co.uk and he never put a foot wrong in the interview. His knowledge about players from the 70s/80s seemed pretty good. Can't hold a candle to you lot as some of you appear to have more of interest in Newcastle than some Newcastle fans. The quote about watching supermac from the paddock might have thrown a few of you younger ones.

Some of the recent posts on this thread reminded me of the story of that Professor who claimed he had invented a potion back in the day, that reduced people’s intelligence. The media were sceptical so he said he’d try it out on a fellow Boffin.
He gave the Boffin a dose and the Boffin said “ Good Morning everyone hope you’re having a spiffing day “….
He gave the Boffin a second dose and the Boffin said “ Greetings all”
A third dose and the Boffin said “ Alright lads”
After the next dose the Boffin said “ Top of the Morning to yas “
Another dose and the Boffin said “ Who are you Feckin looking at ?”
The second last dose and the Boffin started to jump around imitating an ape saying “ Aaaah Aaaah Ooooh Ooooh” whilst scratching his armpits. The media were amazed.
He administered the final dose and the Boffin was dribbling from the mouth slumped in his chair and everyone was waiting to hear what he had to say. Finally he spoke “ Mirandhina Mirandhina!”
