He’s very attack minded, they need their defence shoring up. No matter what work they do in January, they are going to have a largely immobile side that cannot play the way he demands his sides too. Favre is much in the same vein though I think would be a better appointment for them than Fonseca. They are clearly going down the ‘big fancy name’ approach, getting wrapped up in the needing to play good football nonsense, which would have been a exciting proposition for them if it was May rather than October, with 3 points from 8 games.Foncesa will take them down. Book mark this comment
Tbh if they go down they will piss the championshipAs long as they get relegated with a new manager in charge ,i will be happy.Think Stevie will be as well !
Probably but you just never know, look at the money Villa hoyed around in 2016, ended up finishing midtable.Tbh if they go down they will piss the championship
Pressure on his horses was more.Fat waste of space horse-botherer Quinn on SSN now saying the pressure at NUFC is 20x greater than anywhere else. Err, alreet you waste of skin

Yes, Donald and Ellis Short have committed similar acts to Bin Salman haven't they?
Bruce has both sides of Tyne and Wear fans with the same opinion of him. In this instance both are united in their opinion. He's a rich dud.Did he say it's because their fans are knackers?
Thats not what I'm saying, and you know it's not.Really?
So the behaviour of Russia, & Abu Dhabi, to those who do not tow the line or minorities is fine because it is not quite as abhorrent as the Saudi's is fine?
No need for a counter argument here.
Ignoring the previous 'worst' because there is a new 'worst' hardly solves the problem. Newcastle really are not the first example of Sportswashing.
What, with LINTON leading the line? Are you a mad mag?Tbh if they go down they will piss the championship
No I just can admit their squad is too goodWhat, with LINTON leading the line? Are you a mad mag?
Say no to drugs !No I just can admit their squad is too good
Irrelevant iirc. As long as Newcastle fans win some games they won’t give a fuck - precisely why sportswashing is successful. You must be logged on to see external links
War crimes now!!

At the risk of being charged with 'Mag' insults... why should this matter?I think it is the sheer scale of the potential backing and inter-connected nature. Effectively KSA own NUFC and with it goes the influence and power of KSA.
When you look at potential sponsors PIF own 44bn (70%) in Saudi Telecom, 29bn (37%) in the National Bank, 22bn (74%)in Saudi Electric, 20bn (67%) in Saudi Arabian Mining Co. And these are just the listed companies. They are clearly influential in the day to day running and could insist they sponsor NUFC, I guess people will draw parallels with Etihad and the sponsorship of City but it the relationship is much more blurred.
You could say that Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan is connected as he is married to one of the daughters of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of UAE, but UAE is Federal elective constitutional monarchy whereas Saudi is Unitary Islamic absolute monarchy with MBS at the top. Also UAE is a mere gnat in comparison to KSA.
'Regretting it till my last day'I don't even know why I am replying to you as I will probably end up regretting it till my last day but of course I am not making DIRECT comparisons between someone who is from a country who beheads journalists and someone who consistently failed to back the manager with sufficient funds and an effective scouting system. It is idiotic to think I am. My point you were unable to see is the obvious. Both Short/Donald and Salman are bad owners that come with with bad reputations and negative baggage - naturally one significantly worse than the other.
Given what we know Lee Johnson can do over time with existing talent like O'Nien and his own signings, most of which young talent, he would never in a million years have come had Short or Donald been in charge.
And I think red lights and sirens will be blaring encouraging them to stay away if a really good manager is approached by MBS given the controversy over the ownership deal.
Micky Quinn is an idiot. He took the piss out of a disabled lad but is some what of media darling it’s never been brought up. Fair enough it was Dave the Rave but stillHaven’t endured the joy that is Sky Sports News for a while. Turned it on earlier to hear Donnie mangling words in true journalistic style to take 10 minutes and say nothing. Then they went to the legend Micky Quinn, scored so many gerls, and was treated to his answer to the question who should take over. Start at the top, Pep Guardiola!
I also think he dyes his hair.
