He probably is to be fair, at a mid table club currently and if the big teams want to sign him newcastle could probably offer a lot more in wages to take what will realistically soon be a sideways step to West Ham

Like you say should have been done years ago and needs to be done at some point, or do we just let 1 more club do it then change the rules.

Contract expires in 2024, with one year extension clause in favour of the club. He is being lauded everywhere as a future star and West Ham priced him out of a move in the summer. Absolutely zero chance he is going to Newcastle @ 22 with a world cup around the corner to join " a project".

Last years Serie A league table for goals conceded. There were only 542 goals scored compared to 1024 in EPL and the top two scores (Ronaldo and Lukaku) are now in the EPL.
