Why do I bother even trying to start a rational discussion with them lot?

Trying to explain the point of view that adding one more big club spending £100m+ on transfers consistently is only going to be beneficial for agents and themselves and that they are hypocrites because they will have been the ones complaining in the past about uneven playing fields

All I get back is 'Ya cudnt be further from the truth' more often than not.

These guys that I'm discussing with are normally reasonable people as well who I have been mates with for years and they are completely seeing things through blinkered eyes.

They're the thinnest-skinned set-of fans in world football who constantly require reassurances of how great they are.
Geordies all over, not just the football fans. . They tell the World how lovely they are, how warm and friendly, welcoming, and then hear your accent when you're down the Big Market, and kick your f***ing heed in.
Needy, attention seeking c**ts. Every f***ing one of them.

Great time to sign players in January, you're going to get rinsed off clubs for very average players 😅
I was saying this at the bairn's football training last night. All this posturing as the world's wealthiest club and knowing they will be desperate in January will mean an average player who is worth £20m with suddenly be £50m. Not to mention players wanting the earth to go there if they're still relegation contenders.
They could be landed with some pretty poor players on long, bloated contracts which will affect FFP in the medium term

From what we’ve seen, do you think the more vocal of your fan base will be that patient?
I would hope most have a basic knowledge of the game. That is all that is required to see how long it will take, with sustained spending and some luck along the way, to reach even top 4.

All with release clauses if, sorry, when they get relegated.🤣

Would be funny but if the PL are corrupt enough to let this deal go through in the first place they’ll be corrupt enough to let them pass some shady deal that lets them spend money that totally didn’t come from their owner.
It’s obvious to me mate. There is absolutely no separation between the Saudi regime and their PIF. The premier league allowed them to buy the club anyway, under pressure from the PM. I can’t see why they wouldn’t allow the Saudis to exploit some kind of loophole. They dropped themselves in the shite by letting them in.

I wonder if the PL are as pissed off as everyone else about this takeover? They hid behind piracy and separation thinking that would be the end of it so they didn't have to get into the murky world of human rights and Khashoggi but now they have been forced to put this through by the PM they could be furious at how this makes them look and what this may do to their 'brand'.

What a total arsewipe ... Mentions "The Entertainers (Failures)"

"Newcastle United fan's tribute song to Amanda Staveley for 'saving club' with takeover - Chronicle Live"
f***ing hell. It’s unbelievable.

They could always vote in a wage cap for every club and that would stop this I'm its tracks anyway, every club entitled to spend the same amount should they wish no individual wage cap but a club wage cap would instantly solve it allowing clubs to be profitable and create a very competitive League.
Because they don’t want a balanced league. Having superpower type clubs sells globally

That’s the impression they give. Their statement said as much. This was forced through by the government

Another thing occurred to me this morning that I think is worth mentioning.
The temptation for KLD and the management at our place to stick the boot in, must be huge.
It is massively to their credit that they are simply ignoring all the noise, and quietly still going about their business.
Cream floats to the top always.

I'm talking accross the entire market ( world wide) ...they're the richest kids let's see how deep those pockets are
Oh I know mate. If the other clubs in the PL effectively closed that market to the mags ( they won’t because there’s money to be made and noses will be held) then the other clubs in Europe along with their agents would bleed them white.
