For fucks sake just fuck this thread off. The deal is done they are the richest club in the world blah blah blah, so f***ing what. Let's just concentrate on Sunderland AFC
It is the biggest football topic at the minute, regardless of it being the mags.
A lot on here just find it hilarious how they constantly make themselves out to be total tosspots time and time again.

Yep Neville living in a fantasy world, sport Makes us all forget our differences and can create a worldwide utopia 😂
I just switched the TV off when he starts with his virtue signalling shite.

As if the Saudis are going to discuss human rights over the PL table
Its absolutely mental like. There's been international condemnation of them for years and they haven't changed. They're hardly going to suddenly say "you know what, we've spoken to some Newcastle fans so suddenly we're going to be an open, inclusive society". Anyone suggesting they will either knows nothing about them, or is lying to try to stave off criticism.

He has just spat on all the innocents suffering and suffered at their hands.

Worst of all was his smug face when he finished talking.

Absolute hypocritical shite ball.
More than coincidence that Souness and Keane have had no Sky footy involvement this weekend.

Neville really backtracked re Newcastle’s takeover, his arguments were ill thought out and naive. Shameful.

The worst thing was he went red and flustered and looked embarrassed with himself and so he should be.

Ten faced doesn’t come into it.

Understand why this thread might be tiresome, but:

They are our main rivals.

There could be some major impact on SAFC in terms of youth set up and support if they look like emulating Man City.

This takeover has revealed an awful lot about their character

It’s also shown us a lot about how the Premier League and football in general works

It’s also shown our politicians and journalists to be even more pathetic and spineless than many of us thought.

Not that any of the groups mentioned above have acknowledged it, but the reputational damage to the region as a whole could be massive as a result of this

If the bigger plans being mentioned regarding ‘investment in the region’ and Man City type deals with local councils have any truth in them, then we could be living with the impact of this for decades. Early indications are that these Islamic extremists won’t have too much trouble influencing the local politicians, should they be inclined to do so.

And then there’s also the fact that there’s a number of things about this deal that suggest it mightn’t be what the mags think it is at all, and it could all yet go completely tits up.

So I’ve got to admit I can’t help being extremely interested in how the whole thing pans out, although am sure my interest will wane a bit over time. I hope it does tbh

Really hope he gets pelters.

Sit round table and they might change.

FFS it's in their beliefs.

They always said charnley would stick around initially. Was reported in the press years ago.

But Chris Mort?

IIRC Chris Moet was Ashley's lawyer during his takeover who was an interim CEO for a while?

He stepped down to return to being a lawyer (for Ashley and others) and now he's been negotiating with Ashley on behalf of the new buyers?

That's a heck of a coincidence, is the world of football that small?

Neville discussing sportwashing saying “the 3 weeks I was in Russia for the World Cup were wonderful - saw no problems - could have been anywhere” without a hint of irony 🤡
Aye sitting in luxury hotels and restaurants, not in a shitty little Moscow flat with a family on crap money in a generally miserable country, run by a dictator.

Neville is a pseudo intellectual without any real knowledge once he starts getting into politics and ethics.

Also knows how to cover his own arse so his paymasters won’t question him.
And the whole of the islamic world will now change it's ways , Honestly what world do these daftys live it  :lol:
An irony being just hours after a UK politician was stabbed to death in his own office by another radical nut job with Middle East political leanings. FFS man, stop being so thick.
