They were represented by Lee Charnley, the incumbent managing director, rather than Amanda Staveley, the director and minority stakeholder, who is now responsible for running the club on a day-to-day basis.

Why are all of Ashley’s people, including Bruce, still hanging around the club more than 10 days later? Are the new owners that disorganised? Have they managed to do anything at all?

It won't mean shit. It's a one month stop that apparently we have already challenged the legality of it. You can't allow the Emirates and Etihad sponsorship deals to be in place and block others - it just wouldn't stand up in court.

I'm actually not against it in principle but it would have to be fair across the board. Sadly, I think it's likely far too late.
