I agree they have no control over who owns their club, so if they’d actively protested against it and it had gone through then I’d have some respect for them.

Instead they went on like babies to get what they wanted, and are now doing whatever they can to defend their owners while wearing f*****g tea towels on their heads.

They had their chance to show some moral conscience and they missed it.

They’re up against it now. They are already one of the worst teams in the league. Now, every other team will raise their game against them to ensure they get relegated at the end of this season.

He didn't know how to run a football club but he wasn't a twat and clearly he had lost interest. You seem to love making excuses for the Trotters who thought they could make a quick buck from us, they were hardly Robin Hood figures.

i didnt make excuses for donald et al in any post on this thread-i literALLY criticised them? are you illiterate or just menatally defective? i simply said short acted in his own interests not putting rhe club into administration..he definitely lsot loads of cash on it..which is probably why they ouldnt find good owners to buy it off short!

I’ve interacted a lot with the lad from Sock Council because I buy his stuff. He tweeted some anti Saudi stuff yonks ago when a takeover was just mooted. I kind of expected this tbh. He’s having it out with a few mags on Twitter that have encouraged a pile on.
