Had to have my in-laws round for a visit this afternoon. Today of all days, my Mag father-in-law picks today to come round. He was told beforehand, under no uncertain terms that that filth would NOT be going on the telly. So, he mentioned that he was recording the match to watch later on, so didn't want any spoilers.

Football wasn't mentioned. Right up until the point they left as they were getting into their car and I cheerfully waved them off with a parting, "Spurs are winning 3-1!"

That tweet from the Newcastle account is textbook delusion.

January going to be way too late for Newcastle to save their season from relegation. Derby’s will be back next year
