Exactly the same with you. Its easy for us to say but I am certain I would have to walk away if such a brazen evil murderer took over at Sunderland. They haven't got their club back they've lost it to a murderer. What shocks me is that there doesn't seem to be this debate going on amongst Mag fans.
I‘d like to hope there are some who oppose it. But, I suspect the toxic way Mag fans go on, on social media, might stop any who opposed it from speaking out. They’d be given too much shit.

There is zero debate amongst them, each and everyone of them is happy to accept the takeover. Those that had a slight feeling of unease have taken whataboutery tablets and the unease has passed for them also. My wife is a Mag. The day the takeover was announced she mentioned it, I closed it down swiftly as she knows my feelings on Saudi, not been spoken about since. I’ve been saying for years , well before Khashoggi that Saudi was the axis of all evil on this planet, my opinion hasn’t changed. I’ve been approached on numerous occasions with life changing opportunities to go and work for Saudi Aramco and turned each opportunity down without a second thought. As I said if the boot was on the other foot, it was Sunderland that had been taken over by the Saudis this message board would be awash with fans like me voicing an opinion, arguing with fellow fans on the topic, has anybody seen similar debate amongst NUFC fans…none at all!

Well Holly Blades from whatever fanzine didn't disappoint on BBC Breakfast News.

She's delighted that her club is back after the toxic regime (said without a hint of irony) of Mike Ashley.

When asked about human rights , she feels for people who've suffered ( helps if you keep it generic Holly so you don't have to think about real people being victims of your true owner ) but she's impressed by the work that Jamie Reuben and Amanda Staveley are doing with local charities.

The Premier League have a fit and proper owners test so they obviously don't feel that's an issue ( is that the Premier League that's corrupt or the one that lets you have a murdering regime as owner)

The ideal partners to be Sportswashed.
That's nice of her.

Another who turns a blind eye when suits.

Its gonna bite these people on the arse soon anyway.

Had to give 10 thousand season tickets away as so many stopped going because of Ashley but insist there’s nothing that they can do about who’s just bought the club

support the team not the regime iirc.
To be honest if any mags are truly conflicted on this, the support the team not the regime slogan is a good one to use. It's not piss taking, or aggressive in any way but gets the right message through.

Just been reading the Sunday mirror, the mags will only be recruiting a manager that’s out of work
So they are resisting sacking Bruce because it will cost them and they will only employ an out of work manager as his replacement, presumably because they’d need to pay a club compensation if they appointed one already working.
Doesn’t sound very rich to me 🥴

Thats minging that like. They look like a pair of vampires. Sent a shiver down my spine. Great for Halloween though.
It’s the #custodians that kills me. They’ve done nil, nada, zero, zilch so far yet are deemed the annointed saviours of the shit tip.
