Dont think we would protest about not being sold to them in the first place, and defiantly wouldn’t turn up with tea towels on our heads waving pro Allah flags….
The will to ignore comes from their sense of entitlement. The vast majority of them have only ever seen two seasons outside of the Premier League. Both of which were nailed on promotion seasons with teams that should never have been below mid table in the Premier League, one of them enhanced with massive spending by the world's greatest ever manager. Yet somehow there is this hilarious perpetual myth of supporting through thick and thin, dark times etc.

So if we are also horrified about the Saudi regime, what are we to do, stop supporting the team we have all our lives and just walk away? We can't change them buying the club so we should just stop supporting nufc? They UK government has dealings with Saudi Arabia yet we still live in this country, doesn't mean we agree with the regime. If it were reversed and they had bought Sunderland what do you think you would do? Stop supporting your team?

Nobody is expecting you to stop following your team.
Personally I wouldn't feel comfortable but everyone has different morals.
It's the hypocrisy.
Ashley is made out to be the devil, yet the Saudis are great.
The North east is a traditionally working class area and you (not all) have turned into Harry Enfield torys, with all your 'we are considerably richer than you' shite.
Most older fans have been bleating on how much money has ruined modern football.
Bang, there go the morals, stick a teatowel on your head and sell your souls.
Do you not feel a bit dirty seeing your fans waving a Saudi flag?

Didnt stop you spending the best part of 14 year getting rid of fat mick. Where’s all that righteous indignation now?
support the team not the regime and all that malarkey? Did you misplace it? Forget where you left it? The U.K. government are corrupt but you don’t have to vote for them, in fact you should be grateful to them for getting your deal done.
And they didn’t buy Sunderland they bought you, after you campaigned on their behalf for 15 months.

Sorry we're did I try to justify the regime? I said I was just as horrified by acts the Saudi government has committed, but posed the question am I supposed to walk away and not support my team? Have a go coz I'm a mag but don't try and say I tried to justify the regime when I clearly didn't that's just lying.
Sorry it wasn't directed solely at you but as a group of supporters in general. For the past decade we may have laughed at your antics (shop shouting countless fan groups mock funerals etc). But you've been resolute in one common goal getting rid of Mike Ashley but now there's nothing you can do? Even your LGBTQ+ community has rolled over for them when they know their stance on homosexuality.

I personally don't feel comfortable but still support the team. And yes I do feel a bit dirty seeing people with tea towels on their heads and waving Saudi flags, but every group of supporters have a section who do things that a lot of other fans don't agree with or support.

Me personally I'd support the club but not attend any games, my mate said he'd still go to games and I called him a ****.

Aside from that I'd not defend the Saudis like the vast majority of your fans have and I'd certainly not have protested to actually let them buy is which again the vast majority have done.

Probably fight with any fucker wearing a tea towel and definitely lay into an islamic flag waver.

Then get locked up and never attend again.

Would be shame like , but that's what I could imagine me doing.

P.S...that will happen at your ground tomorrow

God I hope hope they utterly balls it up tomorrow..and show the whole entire universe how ridiculous they are.
Its always about them..always has been..thier superiority complex knows no bounds.
When it comes to the "big 6" they just look at them as an obstacle..a wall..a fence to get around or over..they've never been taken seriously outside that!..they flirted with it 25 yrs ago and blew it..but they still believe they should eat at the table with the real football elite!..again..thier entitlement comes to the front now..they disgust me!!..especially now..its a case of look at us We're Geordies!..aye righto!..they make me f£%kin sick!...sorry..rant over.

Whilst I didn't walk away under Di Canio others did, not that I think the two situations are comparable... an empty stadium would really send a message to the owners but I don't think your fans successfully managed a walk out against Mike Ashley so I can't see it happening here

Because he was a detriment to our club so of course we wanted rid of him. Doesn't mean I agree with acts commited by the Saudi government. That's why I asked what you would do if they had bought Sunderland, which you didn't answer.

you forgot disney and twitter mate. because they are obviously the same as well.

Well done to everybody involved.

But that tweet is wrong. "Shoving murder down their throats" WTF? How do you thing Jamal Kasshoggi widow feels seen people dancing in the streets of Newcastle wearing Mohammed bin Salman mask and welcoming him as some kind of saviour?
It’s not real to them mate. It’s words on a screen or pictures on tv. If they’d ever seen a human body rent asunder they wouldn’t be talking the way they do. 99.9 of these knackers have never heard of kashoggi. And the ones that have hadn’t til last week.
