Anyone else taking football less seriously since the takeover was confirmed? I would just describe it as the humbling feeling as knowing we will always be worse than them (which was never a guarantee before). I'll still have my season ticket, I'll still buy streams to our away games, I'll still wish the bastards lose every match, but it doesn't hurt as much now. I feel healthier in a way, I guess.

Anyone relate to this?
No.
Never ever thought we were worse than them. Never will.

I actually think it’s galvanised our fan base and reinforced the hatred for the mags with the way them and the local media / Sky have gone on.

I actually can’t wait to play and hopefully beat the bastards again.

Playing the “world’s richest club” as we keep getting reminded is a total free hit… they have hyped this and themselves up so much anything other than the title and champions league football in the next 3 years will see a the meltdoon of meltdoons

Ive lost interest in the PL for about 5 years now. Its absolutely shit. Only take interest for betting purposes.

I really don't care about them. We beat them silly over a few years. Then things went downhill for us while they have been surviving in Premier league. I've never really disliked them. It's more entertaining seeing them squirm and complain than seeing them play. I only watch them from time to time in the hope of seeing them getting beat big or concede late and have a laugh.

I still won't give a damn about them, no matter how great a succes they get. If anything, I will start de testing them as much as Tottenham, Liverpool and Man U, combined with the laughing whenever things don't go their way.

It will be interesting when we do eventually play them again. The Mags team will have been built on nowt but money and hype. Our team, will have been built on talented youth and players who are proud to wear the shirt.

“Worlds most hated club”.
Sell outs of the highest order.
An absolute disgrace to the flag. 🇬🇧

I believe in the last week Brendan Rogers, Conte and now Zidane have turned them down giving excuses. I would hope the real reason is they don't want to be associated with the murdering bastards and their blood money. Any right minded player shouldn't go there either.

I hope this snowballs after Klopps comments too.

Without doubt, could you imagine all the daft twats with their Saudi flags and tea towels on in the away end for a derby.

Be class playing and smashing them on and off the pitch the horrible twats. We might be owned by KLD but have retained our identity of what SAFC were founded on as a community club.

That lot are the public face for a murderous Middle Eastern regime!

Breaking news:

I’d like to confirm I have no interest in the newcastle managers job when Bruce is sacked.

remember when pardew ruled himself out of the England job without being offered it 🤣or Barton retiring from England duty, several years after his last call up
