Sir Bob Mortimer

I love Bob, but don't like the stick Vic seems to get these days. Catterick was sublime, Smell of, Big Night In, Bang Bang and they were both absolutely hilarious. I believe nearly all written by Vic too.
Aye I have seen a few digs at him, I dont get it

He has semi retired from doing that type of stuff and now does what he enjoys

A very funny bloke

This. If anything he was the creative force behind most of their career, Bob admits as much in his autobiography.

Bob is a more likeable bloke I think, but Vic is the genius of the two.

See I wouldn’t necessarily give Vic Reeves stick but as time has gone on I’ve found Bob to be the far funnier of the two.

Weirdly when I was a kid and I watched them it was the other way round
Must give that a read myself.
It’s a class book like.

Agreed mate. I find Bob much funnier now for sure. Vic was f***ing amazing years ago though, but was also the star of the show.

Finished his book the other day. Really enjoyed it, such a likeable fella and wrote in his uniquely charming way

Oooooh. The Return Of The King.

John Cooper Clark was on last week. He was great. The nearest thing to a contender for Bobs crown I’ve seen. Imagine Bob n JCC sitting either side of Lee Mack! I think the producers will be thinking about it already but can’t go all in too soon. If they do it’s all downhill from then on. Unless they can find two other loons with their own distinct style for the mock posh fellers team.
Has Skinner been on?
