Kante was Chelsea’s most influential midfielder last year. Then possibly Jorginho and Mount.

I thought Mount did his job last night ,got high up the field, always open, carrying the ball, trying to make things happen. It was an off night for Grealish Raheem and Harry . There's only so many 5/10 performances a team can carry . One of the more valid criticisms of Lord Gareth of the Latter Stages is that he doesn't like to change things mid game.

Poor performance from the whole side tbh. Last night's game was crying out for someone in CM who can thread a ball into the front three, it was all very predictable for the opposition. Someone with an eye for a pass, like Ward-Prowse would have been a better option in CM in my opinion.

I’ve noticed this. When Grealish is on the ball it almost sticks to him. But after 2/3 touches Mount has usually lost possession and waiting for his more talented friends to win it back
The slow tap tap build up from the back is awful. Especially at Wembley with its (allegedly) massive pitch.
