How is that allowed if say both clubs get into Europe?
They were rank last season .Spurs gannin' reet up in my estimations here.![]()
The Marseille one will be interesting considering our owner also has 5% ownership of OM
This is actually bigger than football though, it's world news.If the Saudis had bought our club it wouldn't sit right with me now I'm older and wiser. I know it's a big issue but I generally couldn't give a shit about either Spurs or the Mags. FTM as in "fuck the mags we don't care"
I certainly wouldn't be getting involved in other clubs bitching about them.
It’s crystal clear now mate. When the Tory prime minister is telling the PL to get it done it’s no longer deniable. F**k me, the Saudis are bad enough but you know how putrid it is when the most corrupt, morally bankrupt government we’ve ever had is balls deep in it I don’t know what else needs to be said. This is actually bigger than football though, it's world news.
Sport has consistently blurred moral lines when it comes to money.
There isn't even any blur with this takeover, it's gone to a whole new level.
Actually, it’ll be extremely interesting to see which footballers are willing to move there. These same footballers who take the knee and wear equality badges on their tops etc.Worth a read, not that some will be bothered, you'll be able to buy a world famous number nine with all the money.
@johnpilger: The ex Newcastle United star Rob Lee says of Saudi Arabia's takeover: "Football club owners are not always squeaky clean." Be there, Rob, for a blood-soaked beheading on a football pitch. Or observe the cowardly Saudis bomb Yemen's starving children. You must be logged on to see external links
They were in the same Europa league group a few years back. Think they found a way around it.Already happened with RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg. The teams aren't allowed to play each other. Not sure how that would work with a final, but that's only got a low probability.
Maybe not the former but terrorist sympathisers isn't far off the mark.I'll stick up for them when people refer to some of my best mates and family as murderers or terrorist sympathisers.
The same, repeatedly, never letting it lie, hopefully people won't accept it as then this becomes the new norm, desensitising people to the next step of people like him holding up the FA cup at Wembley to the cheers of thousands.I don’t know what else needs to be said.

“Some tied dishtowels to their heads, others waved Saudi flags, and a few even wore masks of the crown prince himself”
What about sunrise?I can support the club without supporting the Saudis.
I can be proud of my country without being proud of the government.
I can think some of Michael Jackson's songs are good, while thinking he was awful.
Time to get over it now. Someone delete the thread please. Balls to them man
Er, no. That would be his mother.
Might be down to location too. You have to think that he would be close to home probably on a bit more or at least the same money.Offered a big job, with more money....? what's to think about.
They do that whilst being paid by Man City and PSG. Money will always winActually, it’ll be extremely interesting to see which footballers are willing to move there. These same footballers who take the knee and wear equality badges on their tops etc.
Saudis have form for internet disinformationJoined Twitter in April 2021. Very high likelihood that is some lad sat in a room somewhere in Saudi, with 100 other lads, being paid to Tweet that shite
