NUFC/Sportwashing

It's alarming! I know the Abu Dhabi Group has done the same but it was with smaller clubs in America and Australia. But for PIF to buy Newcastle and Inter Milan ( I think they want Marseille too) is sportswashing on a large scale. And that's before we get into the deals with F1, WWE, Boxing and UFC.
Why shouldn't they? They've just bought into the English league with its famed 'fit and proper persons test'. The door is wide open for them now.
As you say, sportswashing on a large scale now as no-one is even attempting to block them.

Glendenning, massive lads fan ish, has really got stuck in on twitter in the last few days

Soon to be the most hated club in football....other fans of clubs I know wont even acknowledge their trophies.
Gonna kill you all when the club relocates out of town then and the Reubans expand their commercial property empire on the old centre spot.
Bet you turn a blind eye to that Billy2Heads
Dead cert. Where the old metro arena was. The Magie Megabowl Allah Hassan stadium. You got your club back..

There’s plenty of peaceful Muslims all over the world, sure. Unfortunately, just about every Muslim country has poor human rights records. That’s quite damning, isn’t it? The problem with Islam is it has far too many conservatives and ultra-conservatives who take it to absurd extremes. The biggest sufferers of conservative Islam is ordinary Muslims.
A perfect example is Iran. Such a talented, hospitable, intelligent people ruled by a medieval bunch of murderers. If Ayatollah Khomeini hadn’t taken Iran back to the 1400s, they’d possibly have had a decent chance to be a prosperous, highly educated, liberal, scientifically orientated nation by now. Such a shame, but hopefully the future is brighter for them.

By the way, I’m not offended in the slightest if people want to insult religion. Why on Earth shouldn’t it be insulted? If people are going to worship sky fairies, they should expect their beliefs to be criticised. Racism against people who happen to be Muslims is a different thing altogether, but there’s nothing wrong with criticising a belief system, whatever it may be, if it’s purely based on faith and old books.

I worked in the region quite a few times in my youth, oddly enough every Iranian that I came across was full of aggression to an odd point.

Either way, I thought I'd say hello, I remember you saying you were having a hard time and I hope you're ok? Tried to message you but the system says I'm not allowed.

How many sad lads fans do you get on your forums 24/7?
Dunno about Newcastle Online, Toontastic gets 1 or 2. But then it's a much smaller forum than this one.

1 or 2 Sunderland fans who don't even have the bottle to be honest about who they support.

They love it on here. Would you wanna sit talking football with a bunch of grown men sat sporting the latest tea towel range?

The mags are, by far, the most mental fanbase in world football.

They just wanna be loved

Was wondering if Tottenham fans were bothered about Newcastle’s takeover and whether they would be saying much on Sunday at their televised match at St.Butcher’s Park. Seems they will be!

Check out and spurscommunity.co.uk.

There’s some really serious stuff including a Saudi dissident group planning to protest at every match Newcastle play, asking Spurs fans to get involved in their protest on Sunday including holding up a banner of the murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi and someone suggesting taking in thousands of fake bank notes with Boris Johnson and MBS’s heads on to scatter from the elevated away end of the ground.

The match header on The Fighting Cock site, instead of just saying Newcastle:away, says versus The Entire Sovereign Population and Government of Saudi Arabia aka Newcastle Away (🤣) and many comments suggests we aren’t the only club disgusted by the takeover, eg:
Let’s hope we don’t win or they may fly planes into our new stadium before we’ve paid for it”
and on Spurs Community site:
“Pathetic club becoming MBS’s plaything, low life
playing in a shit, overrated town full of bright orange women”.

Maybe a few posters on here want to go on these sites and put some of the stuff that’s appeared on here of late like Sky reporter Keith Downie’s tweet, Olly Holt’s reply and Downie’s retraction and the subsequent cartoons of Saville, Thatcher, bin Laden and Prince Andrew! Plus @cheeses of nazereth new NUFC badge, think that’d take off on their sites.

Seems like other clubs feel very strongly about this issue too, as well as some serious political groups. It’s building all the time as it sinks in.
I've heard a certain club from the NW have a huge LGBT flag getting made with Crown Prince pic in the middle. Oh he wont like that. This is now an eternal thing for Saudi fc. Nobody will recognize their success and nufc are dead. In fact our rivalry with nufc has finished which is a great shame. Nobody can take on a government funded club.

Nuno is under the cosh and needs results. If the same sitting back Spurs turn up that did against Palace then the mags will stuff Spurs.

Teams won't need to raise their game to get Newcastle relegated - they're not very good and are genuine relegation candidates. Even with a big pile of cash to spunk in January, they might end up in the Championship.
Is there a limit on what they can spend in January?

Aye, it matters. It's 9 years old and smaller than the thread we're currently posting in.

To claim either side don't care about the other is f***ing lunacy.
This is a far more active message board though. Toontastic is dreadful but a fine representation of Newcastle and it's supported - Everyone on their seems to have a superiority complex, weirdos.
