Apparently I am according to people like yourself but in this case I'm asking a genuine question because I admit I've never looked any of this up.
I'm not here to educate you, the information is freely available out there. All you're doing now is admitting your ignorance of the real situation and making yourself look a complete fool in the process.

I absolutely agree. I am ignorant of this situation and this is why I'd like to find out what's what.

PIF owns Newcastle. It is a sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia.

All of the people who sit on the board of PIF are Saudi government ministers. The head of PIF is the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia.

The obvious interpretation and the previous legal advice give to the PL was that the Saudi state and PIF are not separate entities. But the PL have now stated they have been given legal assurances that they are separate, without explaining what that means or showing the evidence. The whole thing stinks.

You comment a lot on here, but are you keeping up with what is going on?
"The fund, the engine of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s economic transformation plans for Saudi Arabia, manages a portfolio worth $400 billion. It has boosted its firepower through several funding sources in recent years, including a $40 billion transfer from central bank reserves last year."

So it gets 40bn from central bank reserves but it is still not separate. The entire thing stinks to high heaven. 91 clubs will read that and think fecking hell, that isn't on. 1 club will read that and go 40bn - get in! Imagine who we can buy.

When they knew we had a potential buyer, of course they were pleading. They wanted Ashley out at all costs, whether I agreed with that or not, which I did not.
I wasn't over the moon with Ashley of late but I appreciated what he did, even if he did make massive errors as well as sulky pet lip digs in a teet for tat with certain fan groups.

All I'm saying is, if owners want a club they'll buy a club. It my be obviously much more appealing if there's a big stadium and fans to match but there's more to these people buying football clubs just solely because of fan influence.

Was any of the owners/shareholders responsible for atrocities. I mean did they order any of it or are they just part of a country that did? Serious question.

The crown prince is the only person in the KSA who can pardon someone from the death penalty. He rules the country in absolute terms and 100% controls the government and the PIF, so yes he's directly responsible for the slaughter by beheading, stoning and crucifixion of hundreds if not thousands of people, not to mention, limb lopping, eye gouging, castration, flogging etc etc. Women who are victims of rape, if their husband decides, are buried upto their waist in a hole in the ground, then a huge truck fill of rocks is reversed towards them for the tonnes of rocks to be emptied onto them. Because they were raped they have committed adultery and shamed their husband.

No doubt you woukd like to see this as the half time entertainment at the ISIS arena.

Another morally bankrupt professional journalist.
“We deserve it”. Fcuk off man….
I was listening to it and Danny Kelly pulled him up on that. Said he'd mentioned they deserve it twice when, aside from Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea, every other club's fans could say exactly the same and that they aren't more deserving nor more passionate that fans of any other club.

I've never questioned this stuff. I actually took it that the owner of Newcastle was directly responsible for the atrocities. I thought he gave the orders based on what was said on here.
I am asking f this is the case.

You're 100% sure on this, are you?
I don't know. I'm asking questions.
f***ing hell haway man. As if this has been going on and you haven't bothered to search any of it!
There you go. It's not definite (very hard to be definite since the authorities can't really go to Saudi and arrest the bloke), but the CIA believe he ordered the murder. As someone with complete control in the Saudi state its also pretty reasonable to suggest that nothing major gets authorised without his say so. So aye, if Yemeni school kids are bombed, it's highly likely that went past his desk.

Again, I'm not saying you should walk away from your club. Keep going, enjoy potentially being able to compete. But don't throw all your morals away at the same time, don't allow yourself to be sportswashed and become defensive of an horrific regime. Newcastle is a decent place full of decent people, support the team not the regime, you're good at that! But if people will continue to turn up whilst protesting about Ashley, then turn up without a word of dissent when this bloke turns up, then it becomes obvious that all your fans care about is the hope you'll become successful (which you might not). It's not a good look

You're a reasonable sort, so I'm sure you can see why months of what appear to be quite a few Newcastle fans mounting campaigns on social media, writing to MPs and the Prime Minister, lobbying the Premier League, going down to London to protest, trying to get in to Premier League buildings in order to try and get the takeover to happen make it harder for other fans and the media to absolve 'the fans' (recognising that those weren't all fans but they were a sizeable group) from criticism. Yes, the government and PL allowed it, but many NUFC supporters worked really hard to try and push them in to allowing it.
Aye and Wraith and the f***ing weird lads begging the Premier League for some hot water for his pot noodle are oddities. The fanbase desperately wanted a takeover and all that promised because of the Saudi wealth.

Some of the fans should 100% be criticised, the daft lads in headscarves, the kids with Saudi flags in their twitter pictures, True Faith got justified criticism for that awful t-shirt too.
