I hope those whose morals are so high do not use the investments of these people.
If Newcastle fans are expected to give up their club on moral grounds then all those with morals over this should cease to use anything that has been invested in by this group.
Does everyone do this?

If not it is massively hypocritical and is a clear indication of the subjectiveness I mentioned.
Sorry to bring this up but fair's fair.
Here we go again... Are people expected to check who might own some shares in every product we ever buy? It's a shite excuse and certainly isn't hypocritical.

I dont expect you to give up your club. I just find the waving saudi flags and discussing changing religion to Islam a tad offensive.

I would go f***ing ballistic if it happened to us I really would.

The government and FL are a bastard disgrace. They have spat on the victims of this disgusting Prince and his army of torturers and murderers, that's inclusive of the 5 men he butchered whom he backheeled khashoggis murder on .

911 was perpetrated by terrorists mate- not the Saudi sovereign wealth fund

Most Newcastle fans will be less than happy that it's the house of Saud buying us out- but there's nowt that can be done about it so well get on with supporting our team .

Did Sunderland fans kick up a stink when a confirmed facist who celebrated the funeral of a rw killer ( a terrorist involved in an atrocity in Bologna that killed 80 people ) ... was made their manager in 2013 ?

....One or two did maybe

But the vast majority thought fuck it - let's get right behind him ....

You're boring as fuck. You keep saying the same thing.
PDC had to put out a statement denouncing fascism due to pressure put on him

Let's see if your fans put pressure on your owner to denounce wahhabism, their appalling human rights / killing journalists/ killing Yemeni kids.
Watch bitter lake by Adam Curtis. A great documentary which shows where terrorism comes from. Saudi Arabia. The Saudi government are at the heart of the world being backward. Wahhabism was exported by Saudi Arabia, with their government pushing for this to happen. All Muslim extremists are from the wahhabism philosophy.
Saudi Arabia is a disgrace. Your owner is a disgrace. At the heart of most of what is wrong with the world. Yet you lot f***ing dance on the streets and wear clothes imitating him cos to you morally defunct people the thought of spending this blood money far outweighs the atrocities that the Saudi regime have given the world.
Like I said many times, PDC renounced facism. He was pulled apart on it loads. Journalists, fan groups, thr Bishop of Durham, miners groups, and lots and lots of fans on here. For some the PDC statement wasn't enough.

Now where is the clamour from people associated with Newcastle to hear from your new owner his views on murdering journalists, women's rights, gay rights , wahhabism and terrorism , 911, , atrocities in Yemen?
Do your supporters give a fuck like Sunderland supporters did over the concerns we had with PDC, which pale into insignificance compared to your owners actions and beliefs.
Do you have a moral compass?

The mags thought we'd be seething with jealousy, and you can't take the fact that we aren't, we despise how you've welcomed this despot into your fold
You're disgusting, and the sad fact is you lot know you are too.

That's why you keep harping on 'PDC' trying to deflect the despicable actions of your support. You lot coming on here trying to justify how you feel , it just makes it worse.
Now fuck off and put your head in the sand, you hypocritical disgusting human being.

There's something about this takeover that just doesn't seem clear cut. The rumours of hitches in the process are growing and the new owners are being strangely quiet. As we're in an international break Bruce was expected to have been removed and a caretaker, most likely Jones, announced as a temporary caretaker only.

As a world class attention seeker Staveley is remarkably quiet.

Look at all of the human rights activists all of a sudden...
Look at all the people who don’t care about human rights all of a sudden because a bit of cash has been waved in their faces.

I love that your all so morally bankrupt that you find it incomprehensible that people could be appalled by state sponsored terrorism, the murder of journalism, persecution of homosexuals and dissenters, killing of Yemeni children, the list goes on….

Sorry to bring this up but fair's fair.

It is a pathetic comparison.

Once, a company has an IPO it has no say in who buys it's shares. Ashley had a choice, he chose to go with it, and the fans had a choice to welcome the takeover or distance themselves. They certainly welcomed them with numerous polls suggesting 97% of fans were in favour.

But that aside the PiF equity investments are less than 5% and therefore have no controlling stake unlike an 80% share in a football club.

If there is nothing to see I am a bit lost as to why you are here before 8am on some small time football team's discussion forum? The papers are full of exciting talk about new players and managers but yet you are here. It is absolutely bizarre.

You do realise you’re now a defender of a regime that hacks journalists to bits, murders people for being gay and blows up buses full of kids.

sorry like but no amount of trinkets is worth that. Congratulations on your first trophy, the most gullible fans on the planet..

The club was massively held to task over that - by local press and politicians (who seem to have misplaced their integrity and spines these days).

This was last year after they'd been linked with the Mags (and a whole 3 pages of very little outrage at that).

I'll repeat, before they were linked with them nobody gave a toss. It's all just faux outrage. We need to sit tight, continue building our club as is currently happening and just hope that somehow it goes tits up for them. If anyone can mess this up, it's the mags.
One of the threads on the post you’ve quoted is from 2018 you idiot.

Your sample from pubs before and after the game is slightly limited and unverifiable to say the least. Why not look at a much broader sample that’s all documented for posterity and shows the opposite of what you’re saying and then stop sports washing for them.

No it's not a pathetic comparison.
This is about supposed morals and if people want to argue about it they must ensure they don't invest their time and money into the very same stuff and ultimately the people who are behind it.

I'm not defending anyone. I'm calling out people who take the moral high ground but then support the very same regime through other means.
In for a penny or in for a pound, it all amounts to the same.

There must be something rattling around in that random word generator that passes for a noggin propelling you to rattle out these long waffling posts of yours. Misplaced conscience perhaps.

Even if KSA’s human rights record wasn’t regularly mentioned in the papers you must realise it’s not quite right that any country can own a club for PR purposes.

Nobody’s asking you to “give up your club”, the rest of the world is just a little shocked how effortlessly you’ve taken to the sportswashing process and you’ll have to get used to that judgement. After all there’s no going back.

No going back in terms of what?

Less of the abuse eh marra. Just makes you sound bitter and desperate. Human rights in Saudi Arabia has never been a big talking point in Sunderland and that's a fact. If they didn't have a pot to piss in nobody would be arsed. We've just got to suck it up on this one. I'm more than happy with our owner, and the direction that we are finally going in after a farcical few years. That's what's important to me. Despite all the euphoria up there, there's still a decent chance we could play them next season. They aren't just suddenly going to start winning games.
