I was 7 in 1992 so aye can’t help when I was born. We were in Europe at least 10 seasons from 94-2006 I know that so that means 10 top six finishes in 13 years or so
Are you a mackem on a wind up? You didn't finish top 6 ten times and I even said you finished top 10 eight times! 😂

You actually finished top 6 seven times but 6th in 94/95 wasn't good enough for Europe anyway. You were in Europe for 2 consecutive seasons but not because of finishing top 6 as you finished 13th in both seasons. It was because you lost the 1998 FA Cup Final to Arsenal and the 1999 FA Cup Final to Man Utd and there was no European Cup Losers Cup.

The same goes for the 3 Intertoto seasons after finishing 11th, 14th and a respectable 7th. So that's 5 seasons you got into Europe through the 'back' door. You got into Champions League 3 times but once was just the qualifying stage and you failed to get to the actual group stages. I'll give you the magic nights of beating Barcelona though ;) (The Barcelona who finished bottom of group with only 1 win in 6 against NUFC in return match)

Now bearing in mind the money that was thrown at chasing success then to win nowt was a failure, especially when blowing a 12 points lead in January 😂 So for the 3 decades of NUFC 1992 existence you should spend a bit of time on Wiki to check your history. You seem to embelish it even though you were only top half of the table a total of 8 seasons in the Hall 'glory' years and got into Europe via the 'back door' 5 times and won nowt 🤪

I love it when Mags post shite and I get dragged into checking stats/history to show them up as talking shite. To be honest, I thought their 90's period was better than than until I checked and saw it wasn't all 'glory' as it was mainly 2 different spells of a few seasons up the top.

Why over 2 decades later don't the Blackburn fans go on like the Mags after 'brief' success due to the influx of huge money in the Premier League and spend willy nilly? In the 90's, Blackburn got top 7 for 5 out of 6 seasons and actually won the Premier League in 1995 so they'd then won the league 3 times (1 less than Mags) and the FA Cup 6 times (same as the Mags) 🤔🤪

Sportswashing is proceeding ahead of plan, already forgetting their past identity

Smoked

Have you checked your gates immediately before you started supporting in 1992? You don't even know your own club's relatively recent history, you absolute balloon.
Any excuse to Thor this 😂🤣

Check out the 10,004 for the Oxford game in April 1991 and the packed terraces. You may think the video thumbnail is the few Oxford supporters scattered on the terraces but you'd be wrong as they're not jumping about at 40 secs when Oxford score ;)

Morals have gone, backed into a corner they will defend the Saudi’s all the way now.
You all said Ashley was such a good owner so surprised to see you are all sad he has gone. Strange. Pre Ashley you had to watch us mags challenging at the top end of the league and in Europe more often than not. He has had his boot on our neck for 14 years and you still couldn’t manage to finish ahead of us more than a few times. Now he’s gone you know we are going to be back pushing Europe like we used to pre Ashley.

And for the poster who was on about us having a superiority conplex, yes we do. We see ourselves as bigger than most clubs. Like when we went down to the championship we said we don’t belong here and we are gonna p**** it and we did. If we never I doubt we would have got a takeover like this. If we were happy with a small time mentality of coming 16th in the PL maybe we wouldn’t have got this takeover. PIF know we want and expect a club of our size to be pushing the top 6.

We are worlds apart as a fanbase,we see ourselves as a club that should be in Europe like we used to and you see yourselves as no bigger than a Birmingham or Ipswich etc. Now we are worlds apart as clubs ( not that we weren’t already.) likes of some of our past players such as Solano, Laurent Robert, Asprilla, Ginola etc are better than anything you lot have ever had in your entire history. Never mind likes of Shearer.

You had to watch us from 94-2006 in Europe most seasons while you mostly floated about the wilderness with a team of cloggers and that’s what’s ahead the next decade too. Can see us reaching 200 games in Europe before you ever add to the 4 you played in the 70s :lol:

Why ya on here then?

Agree with your post. Still won nothing through all of that though since 2008. Just saying you can have a good period and increase revenue and profile etc without winning something. Anyhow we were ahead of Spurs in the league and in terms of crowds revenue champions league etc until Ashley turned up.
Strange because Tottenham had won 2 UEFA Cup’s before Ashley turned up but we’ll ignore them. You’re just ignoring they’ve won a league cup against Chelsea, we can talk about history and the present and they win on both counts. You’ll not touch them in terms of crowds unless SJP is demolished but doubt that’ll happen

Don't be too sure. Investment in the region will consist of the Reuben brothers demolishing SJP for office/housing development, and putting a new stadium up somewhere near the airport, maybe Kingston Park.
