It works both ways though. Both you and @mag in peace for example espouse values on the politics board (which I agree with) which are diametrically opposed to those of the Saudi regime but you seem more than happy to bin them off or turn a blind eye to welcome your new overlords as soon as a bit of cash is flashed.
Just assuming that? If you read my posts on the takeover you will realise I'm not more than happy to do anything of the sort.

Show me the spend for £80m in one summer. Looking forward to this..
In the 15/16 season he spent £102m across the 2 transfer windows, summer and the winter. He was then sacked in March 2016 for the fat Spanish waiter to arrive.

£69m was in the summer window, sorry I’m 11m short.
Imagine looking forward to a reply on a rivals message board 😂😂😂

I really hope it’s true about Keegan and Shearer as it means they are pandering to the bedsheet brigade rather than developing a proper strategy. That will waste at least a year by which time the tendency to shout at shops will begin to surface again.
PIF is essentially the sovereign investment fund. It has two purposes - firstly to secure the wealth of Saudi Arabia by growing its investments. Secondly to create positive PR for the country. 300 million for Newcastle which likely needs at twice that much again to get into champions league positions does not seem to be something that is going to make money. So we can only assume the purchase is for PR purposes. It will be interesting to see what they do to try and achieve that - renaming the stadium is pretty much nailed on. If the current wave of protest at the purchase gathers any momentum then that creates a problem for them. I think they have bought Newcastle as one of the best options to move a big club relatively quickly to the upper echelons of the EPL - and that is probably correct. However I doubt it’s possible to do a Man City now - it will take more like 5-8 years. Will the Jihadi Geordies settle for that? Add in the Stavely effect which will more than likely cost them time then this could be interesting.
Jihadi Geordies :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Didn't know that...

The PIF, who will be the official owners, also owned the two aircraft used to fly the hit squads to Turkey to kill and dismember the journalist, according to evidence heard by a Canadian court earlier this year.

Leave your bitter left bile to other threads .
Starmer and Labour are just as bad and you’re local Labour Newcastle Mp has even helped facilitate the deal.
Let’s not turn this thread into a political shit fest .
It’s about the mags .
Boris forced it through at the behest of the Saudis. How do they square that one? The mental contortions going on here are amazing.

Not having been exposed to NE media of late - what is the deal with her? Someone said she was disabled - what disability? She appears to have a deformed skull, but is there more to it, and is that a disablement in itself? Genuine question. It would be useful to know given how much grief she is going to get over the years on here.
She has the Huntington’s disease gene, apart from that it’s plastic surgery gone horribly wrong.

The bastard should never ever be allowed anywhere near the sol in the future like. After the shite he spouted when dicanio became manager. The bloke is an absolute embarrassment
Couldn't agree more mate. Boils my piss the difference in how he's reacting to this and the di canio situation. I suspect when we eventually get back up to the championship that the athletic will start focusing on us more and I really, really hope they don't ask him to cover us. The bloke can get fucked.

Answer me one question.
If an evil, vile, murderous regime bought Newcastle but were skint, would you still go?
Yes. I'm a Newcastle fan. I will support the club through thick and thin. I've seen highs (relatively speaking) and lows (again relatively speaking).

I've already stated my views on the owners, I won't keep repeating that it's there for you to read.

I can't turn my back on the club that's a huge part of who I am. It's like Sunderland fans walking away when you got to league one - it doesn't happen because our team is our team.

I can't control what I can't control. If Amnesty international turn up to protest at the spurs game, they have my full backing. I look forward to seeing you there.
