One on five live yesterday from Newcastle pride. Adrian Chiles said you are on here to state your feelings regards regime. He said he just wants best for his club and it's for amnesty and government to deal with that. Chiles couldn't quite believe it.
All these rainbow flags, players apparently kneeling in protest of discrimination. Turns out it's all a load of b*llocks. These people can't hope to be taken seriously in future.

It renders all of that completely meaningless. Ask fans to engage in what are clearly empty gestures but happily collaborate with a regime that outlaws homosexuality. These people they won't comment on flog, castrate and kill gay people.

I can't believe they could sell out like this. How do they sleep?
It’s worse than that - they have commented and welcomed the new owners!

It’s not the LGBT community in Newcastle welcoming the gay killers with missing arms - it’s just the mags. I would hope that the wider LGB community condemn them for it.
Mind the pink triangle will be in for a big economic boost - although the Saudi state kills people there are a sizable amount of rich Arabs who like young male company!
That’s true.
The Saudis will never ever change their views or behaviour and I’ll guarantee there will be more negative news than positive. This could be the worst thing to happen to the mags in their long history of fcuk ups.

I’ll certainly be doing my level best to keep the bad publicity flowing - it’s exactly what the Bone saw boys don’t want!
The mags have been one of the luckiest clubs in football - it would be brilliantly ironic if this incredible bit of good fortune ultimately fucks them up.

There seems to be a mixture of bitterness , resentment and apathy in here which I guess is to be expected. In a country where we completely disregard the corruption of our own government we can’t really say much. Saudi money is everywhere so it’s no surprise it is now going to be prevalent in football (or more so) All fans want to see success at their club so I can’t fault Newcastle fans for being optimistic. If we can’t treat our own citizens with respect who are we to judge those from another culture. Yes it’s in a different league of human rights abuse but the faux outrage will soon become what it is for most, jealousy. I honestly hope what they do at that club is good for football and the region as we can’t have more corruption in the game it’s teetering on the edge as it is. I also hope they are relegated and have to do it the proper way.

As an aside I get bad vibes off that Amanda Stavely. Maybe now I’m being unduly and unintentionally misogynistic but there’s something off there.

Nice bit of sportswashing there mate. Leave that to them eh?

I agree about AS, I don’t believe a word that comes out of her mouth. She’s playing them like fiddles when all she is genuinely interested in is herself

You're contradicting yourself.
actually maybe you're joking? Can't really work it out! 😄

are you saying you're ok with the Saudi corruption but no more after that?

Comparing the British government rushing through procurement contracts during a crisis, to a regime that beheads, stones, and crucifies its own citizens, while commiting genocide in neighbouring countries.

"We can hardly say any thing"
Give your head a shake.
