From the PL at the start of the season regarding the knee.

"We remain resolutely committed to our singular objective of eradicating racial prejudice wherever it exists, to bring about a global society of inclusion, respect and equal opportunities for all."

How the f**k is this going to work now?
To allow one of the most racist, homophobic misogynist regimes in the world to take over a club in their PL just shows that in reality it's all just bullshit, just ticking a box. They should hang their heads in shame...

Agreed. As has been said on this thread... I’m glad it isn’t us.
I'll be honest, I'm probably one of those who would just be happy to see us spending fortunes and maybe winning something. I fear my moral compass would waver a bit. I wouldn't have a tea towel on my head but I'd be doing some Olympic level mental gymnastics to try and justify it. Since I'm being honest though, if safc can be a sensible, sustainable, non horrific regime sponsored club and win one major cup in my lifetime, that would mean more to me than us buying success through a dodgy group. I do want to see us win something though so the older I get the more I'd accept the alternative!

Mind the media coverage is getting ridiculous, I was scrolling through Facebook (yes it’s for wankers😂) sky sports had about 30 of the last 35 post/articles all on the mags, I get it they’ve been took over but your taking the absolute piss, like other people have said they’ve got any mag fan they can find on ssn it’s ridiculous.

The media and ex pros cant really say owt now like. Wanking off over this then climbing onto the high horse.

Sold their souls. It will bite them because no **** will listen when they board the high ground.

Its a gap you are simply unable to bridge. Never gonna happen.
You keep telling yourself that. I read the same on here about a Saudi takeover of Newcastle United.
Look, the kind of money this consortium has is mind boggling. Hell the Reuben Brothers are worth £16bn and they're just a minority partner. Staying within FFP might mean we temper the spend, but huge sponsorship deals with Arabsat, or ARAMCO, or whoever will mean our ability to spend will not slow down.

What have been the penalties for the clubs who've breached FFP?

With the right recruitment in the back office and on the pitch we can hope for challenging for Champions League spots ahead of whichever elite side has a bad season.

Think that’s a perfectly reasoned standpoint.

Morals can be bought, and narratives twisted and it’s always easier looking on from afar on the high ground

Well that's alright then.

Got your flag yet.

Just watch some 9/11 footage or read up on the khashoggi murder. Or even look at footage of the bus bombing in Yemen.

Will sort you back out mate.
Hasn't worked before, why would it work now?

Fans cleaned it up this morning.

No.

Got your picket sign for outside Starbucks yet?
You know me well regards Starbucks.

It's a slow news week. England have Andorra.....if a normal Prem week wouldn't get anywhere near as much exposure. Transfer deadline day has been a dead duck for years now - mags will inject some life into it. We should be completely irrelevant to them but we all know they need validation and that will kill them. Millwall love being hated. Liverpool likewise. The mags can't cope with that and need to be validated and be everyones fav second team. Once the dust settles people will start digging into this murky deal.

I'm waiting for the next mag meltdown (it's the mags, there's always one around the corner). They acted like spoilt bairns, to get #AshleyOut and now they've got their wish will act even more entitled and spoilt next time. It's going to be epic.

I will, cheers. You’ve never suffered for attendance or corporate engagement and you’ve never got close to the numbers that you’d need to facilitate that sort of spend in one hit. Your ONLY way of getting into that CL picture with regularity is via gradual slow growth and sensible spending over multiple windows. I don’t think you lot have got that in you tbh.

Newcastle fans think that every penny of the PIF vast wealth will be spent on them. The reality is that it is a small bit visible pasty of their investment strategy. They will spend and spend big but unless the sport washing works and they are regarded as thoroughly decent chaps by the wider world NUFC will be expected to add to the PIF and not be allowed to be a drain without any reflected benefits in terms of PR.

But in reality I don’t care, I’m not concerned. Man Utd have spent billions since their last trophy and were in a far better place than the Mags.

Money removes barriers and provided opportunities, it does not guarantee success!

Sounds like you care.

I honestly don't think any one will give a monkey's if nee one likes us, inject it. Get it up you.

Why would anyone think that? How could you even spend £300 billion on a football club?

These are deluded, desperate fans with a sense of unearned self importance and entitlement.

But the self proclaimed richest club in the world expect many billions spent their club. Do they not?
