Central contracts announced

Leach given one even though they never play him. Crawley given one even though Hameed has replaced him in the test side.
Nice to see Stokes included

Sibley's removed.

This is the main talking point I'd say

I think its a tad harsh, you can see when he went back to the CC he kept getting scores, he is one of best in the country, whrther people rate him or not, thats just the reality of the situation we are in.

I guess it means he isn't going to Oz, I'd take him like, he did well on the lions tour there 2 years ago against a really good attack.

But maybe Hameed isnt there, it shows its them 2 fighting it out

Crawley is interesting, is that because they see him as a test opener, or because he might also play white ball cricket?

I think he could play a lot of that for England, he is incredibly talented player IMO

Its probably just a case of test cricket coming a tad too early for him, I dont think its more than that personally, his technique is pretty good with no glaring errors.
You're not thick Chunks, so surely you can figure out that the fact we lost half our squad to England and even more to the Hundred might've had something to do with that, eh? Christ.

 ffs

Always read Chunky's posts twice, and then read them again.

If Stokes was available then he might. Wouldn’t be surprised if they just use Root as the spinner in Australia
I reckon they will, but it would be absolutely ridiculous - off spinners don't go well in Aus at all (I know Lyon, but he has a bit of variation).
