Come on man. These new owners will get shot of Bruce as soon as a replacement is found. Given Bruce is f***ing awful, and the pool of managers they'll be targeting, I'm fairly confident we'll pick up sufficient points to survive this season. I don't think it's arrogant to say we'll be attracting a better caliber of manager than Steve f***ing Bruce.

I'd have thought we wouldn't but the lack of any dissent from NUFC fans (apart from the C4 journalist, Alex Thomson) makes me wonder whether we'd actually be the same. I tend to think most sets of fans (at least the core/local group) are pretty similar across the board

It's comments like that by people like her and other people in the media that make the Newcastle fans the way they are imo

They start to believe all the shite that's said about them and that's the main reason that they're totally and utterly deluded

Newcastle fans don't deserve success anymore than sheff wed, forest safc, villa, Leeds or any other set of fans.

This notion that Newcastle fans love their club more than other fans love theirs is a ridiculous myth and it's shite like that, that feeds the gullible Newcastle fans

Agreed. Newcastle are a "proper" traditional club with history (like Sunderland) and it's genuinely a bit sad to see them being bought out by Saudi Arabia and very few of them seeming to mind at all. I get that one can be excited about the potential money but that's a different point

Thing that's pissing me off the most is this "we've got our club back" bollocks, back from what? It's gone from one billionaire to another, just because you like one more as they have more money doesn't mean the club is yours again
 
Question for any Mags still on here. If a smaller Saudi fund, who wouldn't bankroll a surge to the top had taken over would you be happy about the human rights stuff, etc? Or would you be dismayed that they'd taken over your club? Would you be planning to stop going/protest etc?

If so, then all other arguments count for nowt, you've simply sold your soul.
