Not sure what’s more embarrassing. Newcastle fans celebrating being 2nd bottom of the Premier League, or Scotland celebrating winning 0-0 against England.

Our British government deal with these regularly. I suppose you believe whoever tells you on that particular day.

These and everybody else (China, Russia, Qatar, UAE) as does pretty much ever other country and multiple football clubs in this country and overseas, as does the governing body of football and multiple other sports (F1, boxing, athletics, golf, wrestling) world cups, winter olympics, olympics - blind eyes turned to all of that have lead to this. Complained about all of it not just this one.

Its not really a sad day for sport/football so much as another sad day in an ever growing list. Man City being allowed to happen paved the way for this, the PL's own dirty behaviour is also part of the reason they couldn't block it.

World Cup in Qatar next year, winter Olympics in China and Emirates owned Man City and Saudi owned Newcastle going for gold.

I bid you goodnight👍👍
Just accept if it goes well they will be competing vs city and PSG. If ours went perfect it would be like a Leicester model but never part of the new elite. I can live with that as we are doing it without money

The media love to Introduce an alternative or subjection to certain news stories. It was inevitable that would be picked up on social media. Just look at the comments on this thread.

I’m sorry, but this really makes no sense at all. In what form of western media would journalists only ever look at one side of the story? Surely exploring all angles is the whole point of reporting?
