The mags are desperate to be relevant man and most (not all) pre 92 believe they actually are entitled to and deserving of a place in the top 4 / Champions League football despite that period being an anomaly in their history.

Make no mistake the faux outrage about the Super League / Big 6 corruption was born out of the fact they are not see as big enough to be involved.

This is why they are celebrating with open arms terrorists and murderers buying their club as believe it’s their golden ticket to being relevant again.

It could well be, but at what cost?

Because Rangers have spent themselves bone dry, nowt spent in 2 windows cos of said reasons. Gerrard will want more than just getting bounced off the bigger teams in the Europa League every year. He's took them as far as he possibly can so it's a move beneficial for him imo.

Their ability to look themselves straight in the mirror as they age, no doubt. You cannot blame kids for getting carried away but there's people who should (and do) know better who are complicit.
