Guardian saying they can spend around £150 m over the next year

They could get round it by paying for players over the course of two or more seasons, effectively at least doubling that figure. Although it would be daft to suddenly splurge that much money, even if Chelsea did that back in the day*

Agents of players wanting one last payday and willing to forego the Champions League for spell on the treatment table with 'injuries' must be licking their lips right now.

PL looks absolutely pathetic now. All this big talk after the super league shenanigans. Now they've just signed this off.

:lol::lol::lol:

I know what you mean . It’s so much better tossing it off in the third division .I’m as gutted as the next poster , probably more, but that’s embarrassing.
Amongst all the bs in this worthless thread here is a post is like…
Because I don’t care what league I’m in, I want a derby match so that I can remember why I don’t like your team

Forgive me for not understanding but how can they not be state owned and the premier league have been given legally binding assurances that it won't be. In that case how are they classed as being the richest in the world? Surely it means they are state owned otherwise where is the money coming from??

Meh. Whatever happens you're going to be a better team tomorrow than you are today.
Still, I'll be hoping everyone you play beats you no matter what the level..which is how it works!

Haway. Even the most gullible man will know where the money is coming from.

Even if they put it down as a donation it passes the red tape.

I disagree, it thats allowed. Example?
The lanky jock thread, Stewart has been undeniably excellent this season, so you make a big bold statement that he won't reach 15 goals and offer bets on it. Possibly some of the most blatant attention seeking this year.

Stating that Newcastle is secured as the top club for 100 years now. Again an obvious exaggeration made solely to get bites (attention)

Or this

Just unnecessary cynical stuff designed to start online drama
