I'm ashamed that the team I have followed all my life are involved with this murderous regime. Shame doesn't even begin to describe how I feel actually. I won't be going to see them and I won't support them in any way shape or form.

Fair play, rivalry aside and both sets of supporters have came together for some great causes over the years. I’d be doing exactly the same in the event the Saudi state bought SAFC.

Shit that you feel your club has lost it’s identity and sold out in the hope of buying silverware.

The local media journalists who report for the national papers are showing their true colours tonight. They basically couldn't give a flying fuck that the mags are about to be owned by a murderous barbaric horrific torturous regime.

Absolutely shameful, not 1 of them will stand up and be counted and tell it how it is. They are a f***ing arse licking want to be loved disgrace.
Yep. Remember the hell we got from certain sections of the media when Di Canio was appointed? All of them are chuffed with this cos it’s likely their golden ticket.

It would be massively shit if they did a Man City, let's not kid ourselves.
True it would be mate but how likely is that to be on pifs agenda. They're not typically in the business of pissing money up the wall. This is part of a geo-political strategy to whitewash their reputation, to validate and add legitimacy. A steady return on investment, a profit on disposal within 3 years and they've achieved their goals. Spending a billion quid to catch up to man city, even in the unlikely event its a plan how will they achieve that, the PL aren't allowing clubs to spend outwith their parameters. As I said earlier, man Utd have literally spent over £1B chasing and failing to win a title in the last 8 years and their turnover is about 4 times that of the mags.
