I just say things as I find it. I'm honest and at times that pisses people off but I'm rarely a gloater like you are painting here.

Its just that when I saw you mentioning the stick you were getting earlier, it prompted me to kindly remind you that you are guilty of exactly the same on the politics threads.

It's an investment fund. It's not a show off how great we are gimmick. I genuinely think people are getting a bit ahead of themselves. We will spend, infrastructure will get updated but I HIGHLY doubt we will spend to the levels people are worried about on here. It's not an investment if you are chucking money away.

I don't remember every mags posts tbf, but we've seen it before from others. Can't remember who the last one was, but he was on for ages giving it the "canny mag" act until one day he came on pissed after you won or we lost or something and was proper ripping into the club, people, city etc. You might not do the same, but the "I'm not getting carried away" thing is eerily similar to others. Time will tell
 
Hopefully Chi will start getting some push back from more left wing members of her party now it's no longer just a niche complaint

We’ve got some serious lack of backbone from some of supporters when it comes to the great unwashed mind.

Growing up in South Shields in the early to mid 90’s was a nightmare when the mags we’re signing household names.

Didn’t dampen my enthusiasm for SAFC or worry me one bit what they did… we could always be shite but I’ll be happy to my dying day I was brought up Sunlun and not to support them deluded tossers

The PL won't care about the crown prince now the piracy stuff is cleared up. He'll probably announce the takeover himself, scarf held aloft outside St James' now.

Absolutely.

As some one who grew up in the 90s in Northumberland with a Dad from Shields who loves Sunderland it would have been easy to support that lot given they were spending fortunes and we were shite at a dilapidated Roker Park.

But I always felt an affinity to Sunderland. The type of club it is, our fans, the working class roots.

They can have as much money as they want but they will never be the type of club we are. Theres a reason most neutrals pick us over them every time.
