Journalists critical of the proposed takeover have already been doxxed in exactly the same manner as Khashoggi. There's a genuinely horrifying element to this.
This is important. Especially the way it's put over
if you just say "human rights issues" it sounds like nowt much...a bit blah...
..But If people hear the full story about Khashoggi that's more of the specific horror.
I knew Johnson would nt give a shit like (Boris, not Lee!)

To be fair our fans got carried away, it just can't happen though, we spent a fortune in shite but you only have to look at the transfers these days to see how long it'll take.

The Mags need about 600m spending but they won't be able too, we can't and the other clubs won't allow it.
What’s the limit in a season?

Well that’s very admirable. I’d like to say I’d do the same, but I won’t.
I take it you also don’t use Facebook or Disney?
Correct. I don’t have Facebook and the last time I saw anything involving Disney must be about 25 years ago. Would you mind telling me how that is relevant, or are you trying to imply I’m being hypocritical? In any event I don’t recall mark zuckerberg having someone hacked to death or the CEO of Disney sanctioning a beheading or bombing Yemen. But maybe you know better.
For clarification and the avoidance of doubt, The Saudi regime are rooted in the dark ages still. They may have shiny new modern toys, but nevertheless. They are murdering bastards Plain and simple. Having them as owners of SAFC would be the end of my support for the club.
You clearly don’t give a fuck. Just own it man. Your choice, it’s what you are. No amount of what about Disney or Facebook is going to change that. We heard all this shite when the takeover news broke the first time.

No one is a Disney or Facebook "fan" we're just customers paying for a services football clubs are social centres hence why they have charities through the foundation and link in with food banks.

This could be a major problem for SAFC. If they significantly invest in NUFC in the near future and we remain scrabbling about in the third division or half way up the second tier then we have a problem with attracting future supporters. 1992 - 1996 was a tough old time for SAFC to compete with them and a generation was lost (smaller towns and villages in the coalfields, wider Co Durham and on borderlines became increasingly black and white).

We really do need to get out of this division this season and be very competitive and even aiming to be promoted from the division above ASAP.

Our owners are stinking rich. Combined, they make Sunderland's owner look relatively poor.

However, we have long since come to realise that 'owner wealth' doesn't always translate to a spending spree, or a period punching above your historical weight.

It did take some time to sink in. On our forum, one particularly vocal fan was insisting until fairly recently that the big money would soon be pumped into the club. Hold onto your hats, because the train's about to depart the station!

It never left the station, and it ain't ever leaving no station.

And for all the Saudi riches, there's no guarantee that Newcastle won't just continue to tread water, on a fairly modest budget.

It’ll be sickening if they start picking up players from our academy. Our academy is becoming an academy for the big 6. Would be gutting if they start buying our youngens

The thing is I can honestly see them running the mags similar to Ashley. Decent scouting network, self sufficient and not many daft transfer fees ( apart from no Joe Linton's). The only difference is that they will probably build a new academy and tidy sjp up. Where we can see that is sensible, the mags will just want to spend spend spend on big names. I think they're going to be in for a shock.

Worth a new thread?

It was covered gently here but it's f***ing scary in truth: NUFC August / October 2021 edition

Especially given we know we're already run by the Russians ha.

Don’t remember you complaining when city got bought out :D
Nothing like the same scale of human rights issues (although questionable).

suppose it depends on your outlook. I love sport, competition and a great story. Emma raducanu, Leicester winning the league, 40 year old jouneyman jumps jockey wins the national. Romance.

as opposed to just buying ‘success’ with grubby or in this case blood money. They torture, kill people and then chop up their bodies for disagreeing with them.
Let that sink in. Mike Ashley avoided paying tax, paying his staff when they took a holiday.

how could any decent person get behind this with a clear conscience

There isn't set limits, you have to submit your books and prove you've worked within your means, can't just make it all up and get away with it.

We're clearly back by a billionaire in Moshiri and a mega billionaire in Usmanov, we spent about £2m this summer, it can't be done once you hit your own limits.

We've got the stadium to build now and we'll be able to attract huge deals to that through Usmanov but not this season and even then it'll be spread over the accounting periods.

If Newcastle tried to spend 250m in a window the EPL would stop it and the other clubs including ourselves would kick off. The EPL can't afford to let another City happen, the damage it does is huge.
