You are right but also look at this - the League threatened to expel us and yet there was hardly a mention of it in the media. We are now so far irrelevant in football that something like this isn't even important outside of Newcastle any more. Sad times.

Because its not an issue. If you are in the league, you play by the rules or they have right to expel you. The discussion was about the O&D test. Any club that was owned by an owner who had not taken that test would be expelled.

It's not newsworthy because Newcastle haven't done that, and the league hasn't expelled them

Tbf to the lad in the quote, he does recognize that they're irrelevant.

Their upcoming fixtures for the next 3 months are horrendous. I'm looking at Burnley and Norwich at home as their chance to put some points on the board.
I don't fancy their chances elsewhere.
 
I hadn’t realised they’d had quite such a relatively easy start to the season, but just checked the fixtures and they’ve got some toughies coming up.
 
Bruce might well go during the International break but a serious question for any Newcastle fan.... Who would replace him ?
