I don't agree with Wraith and the rest of that cabal, as is the case for most of the Newcastle fans I know on there and in real actual life. Wraith might claim to be the voice of the fanbase, but he's just positioning himself in the centre of it so people watch his videos or listen to his podcast or whatever. Anything that gets him the attention he craves.

Wraith is a joke.

I don't like Jordan because he's cut from the same cloth as Wraith. He's an attention seeker, and isn't interested in reasoned debate. If I want insight on the on/off Saudi takeover I'll I'll listen to what Professor Chadwick is saying, as he's an expert in the geopolitics of sport. Or Simon Zekaria. I disagree. It's accurate.

But its not limited to Newcastle. Most clubs are owned by people for non-footballing reasons, usually involving the potential to use the football business to make money in other ways, such as through advertising or land.

Very few club owners think there's money to be made purely from ticket sales and matchday. Or that buying 1 £30million player is going to make a return.
