Sorry - I didn't see the heading. But in any case squad value is all very arbitrary. Plus English clubs benefit from inflated values.

Look at these squads and count how many world class players in each squad:

I mean look at this squad:

Fair enough Newcastle shelled out 25m on Shearer but AC Milan had Baresi, Malidini, Costacurta all from youth plus Weah and Baggio. Absolute delusion to think NUFC were anywhere near these established European teams 25 years ago in terms of squad value. Even at home Arsenal and Man Utd likely higher.
You also need to remember that these are the same fans that only last week were comparing Ronaldo with Rob Lee as they both wear/wore the iconic number 7 shirt. Deluded is not a strong enough word for them.

The tragic thing is that they actually believe that. I’m so glad they are our neighbours, the comedy we enjoy is outstanding
Not half as much as we enjoyed seeing you slide into the third division and struggle......and hearing the "we're too big for this league"....well your not too big for the league because your still in it 4 years later:D

Yes we are in the shit with Fat Mike & Cabbage Head but still in (all be it struggling) the premier league hoping that one day both will piss off

And yet even though we're in league 1 it's our fans who are really enjoying the season and the football on show and who can't wait to watch us play in the next game

Where as you lot are sick as fuck and dreading going to the games

and by the time we eventually make it back to the Premiership, we’ll have enjoyed 2 promotions, probably watching some decent football and finally have a sound setup running our club. You lot, well, if you’re still there, will probably be still prertesting, boucoutting and generally making idiots of yourselves on social media telling everyone about your halcyon days of the mid 90’s when you won nowt.

A derby next season would be delicious.

Well you better hope that your boy wonder can access some of his trust fund otherwise its a long way back to the big boys league
I know, making the numbers up just like you. But until then you are stuck with what you have got, going absolutely nowhere and even the other clubs at the bottom are investing.

It could take us ten years and they’d still be crying their eyes out about something. They’re absolutely pathetic. It is all of them too despite what some say.

They have the biggest 'minority of idiots' of any club in the country.

Hundreds on the streets, fighting with the police, because they lost a match.

Almost as many as the various protest groups who have loads of meetings but very few protests.

Oh dear they are convinced it’s back on again :D

Positives to come out of thus:
i. Most NUFC fans know what KSA and MBS stands for;
ii. They know how to see who is the director of a company on companies house;
iii. They can trace planes using an app;
iv. They would be able to answer the crossword question (6 letters): A group of companies who collude together;
v. They know who the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is....

Not all bad. It's been educational.

Weren’t the Deloitte figures based on club income, which could be measured, to show the richest clubs. These figures are supposed to be the squad value. To get anywhere near £243m they must still value Joe Linton and ’Miggy’ at around £65m and even then I’d struggle to make up the rest of the valuation.

The Deloitte figures measure turnover, which =/= rich. If you're losing money, it doesn't matter what you turnover is - you're getting poorer. I suspect they daren't publish a profit-based list, because it would embarrass too many of the "big" clubs, like Real, Barca and Inter.
