England vs India (fourth test) The Oval

Hameed called it and he’d have been diving even if he set off fraction earlier

poor run he sold Malan down the river

big moment

If India bowl 10 beauties like Burns got you take it on the chin, but losing a wicket like that on this pitch is just unacceptable.

Probably a lack of awareness from Hameed, Malan looks boat slow compared to some of our other lads.

People on Twitter mixed like saying was both of them missed it so can’t judge it but what I’ve seen on Twitter

at best it was a ridiculously tight run

malan may have stumbled bit but there was absolutely no need to risk it for 1 run

poor cricket brain by hameed 20 mins before lunch

I’d say that’s upped India’s chance of winning a lot

How Root plays will give a big indication of our intentions.

I don't mind a quiet 20 minutes here then tick over after lunch, 2 wickets down isn't the end of the world.
250 in 2 sessions on a 5th day with delaying tactics would be a huge ask...think we are going to be trying to hold on to a draw come tea

It'll probably be closer to 230 by the time we get to lunch. If we have 6 or 7 wickets in hand and need 130 in the last session, I would like to see us go for it.

Wickets column is the most important, and keeping them in hand going into the final session.

Think warney said the same earlier like and for an Aussie I love listening to him one the smartest cricketers about

can tell you what will happens

bairstow and Pope will play some shots then get out and everyone will criticise them as wreckless for getting out

people want attacking shots with no risk it seems, not you, but that’s the feeling I get

Here we go. Flat deck and proceeding to fuck it up with lack of composure. The two players you could maybe turn to to bat out a draw aren't playing.
