It's not about whether I thought of it first. It's about viewing all sides and testing out the theories or at least to actually look for the logical potential.
In this case water level proves 100% (to me) the Earth is not a spinning globe that we're supposed to live upon.

Because your vision is angled through thinner to thick atmosphere as opposed to stood at sea level where you vision is simply horizontal and through thicker more dense atmosphere.

Obviously the answer is supposedly that the Earth is just so big it's never noticeable but yet we're made to believe water curves after a few miles or we can see Earth curvature from a plane or the supposed ISS even though it's only supposed to be 240 miles above and we're told at that distance on a supposed massive globe it's like being a few millimetres above and apple, to a supposed scale.

Never in a millions years would you get this...but this is the stuff we're treated to.

Most people are not lying. Most people simply go with the narrative. We are all trained to follow narratives from cradle to grave in all sorts of different ways and means.

That's all we're doing with stuff that has no direct proof. We either believe it or accept it or question it.

It also all depends on how you see life and whether you are part of a controlling system or are on the other end of it.

Light from distance sources kind of gives up or bends towards the end apparently. I think one common thing said is "doesn't a swimming pool look cloudy underwater when you look the full length, air is like that but not as dense so you can see further". Of course this doesn't explain why you could clearly see a ship or wind farm but not the bottom half of it. Certainly fixed objects like a wind farm, you can consistently see the same top part of it, it does not differ with temperature/air pressure/air density.

He keeps repeating water level and it looks level across a lake, while failing to realise that you get the above phenomena on big lakes, so his own argument disproves himself. (cue waffle meaningless response).

But back to what you said about going up to a large building. That is really where the arguments break down. When you go up a tower and look at the same point you could see from ground level, with your line of sight you have just made a right angle triangle, looking down the hypotenuse, which we all know is longer than the other two sides. (except if you don't believe in basic geometry and mathematics, in which case you can also write this off as evidence against) The fact that you can see further and if you are looking at a distant object, can see further towards it's base as you gain height is because of fudged physics or it may be safer to completely pretend that doesn't happen at all and thus project the nice little feeling that the retards are right.

At some point later today, I'll get a long reply to this stating that light bends in certain circumstances for certain reasons to give the illusion of a globe. It will be bollocks.

The reflective energy from the central sun creates the lower and higher pressures that ebb and flow tides as it passes around and over and down and back up and over and down.
