My vitriol towards Bruce is due to his lack of ability as a football manager, combined with and perhaps even more because of, his continued lies, excuses, spouting of utter bollocks, his lack of backbone, cliches, calling out of concerned fans and nothing, absolutely nothing ever being his fault.

What lies?

Cliches? What about the endless cliches your fans come out with? It's constant. No doubt you embrace that.

What has he called out fans on? You seem to have been against the man since he was appointed, he's had no support whatsoever. It won't bode well for managers considering the role in future, not worth the hassle.

That’s one thing we’ll both agree on. It’s never is fault.

We think the Arabs have pulled out. The Arabs have said they’ve pulled out. Seems the mags didn’t get the message

They’ll have to pay way over the odds. Same as they have to with players. Even the ones they’ve tried to borrow have binned them off. We’ve known for a long time they've made themselves toxic with their antics. Seems like the rest of football is catching on.

Sounds like his time here.

Benitez spent £80m in his first year didn't he? That was before the crazy transfer fees that are now being dished out, but because it was zero net spend or whatever, the mags refused to acknowledge it. Benitez spent a load of money on championship/lower league PL players. Many of which are still in the squad now.
Aye that was when "net spend" was all the rage, but now they've had a glimpse at being the richest club in the world, nothing else will do. They'd still be miserable now if Ashley was bought out, if it wasn't by the Saudi Prince.

Of course they would be. I asked the question a while back, would be happy with Ashley was bought out by a more committed owner but had less wealth...no reply.

They only want a mega wealthy owner that's willing to throw around crazy money. I mean, every fan will want that I'm sure but they've taken it to a whole new level, going as far as trying to push a deal through themselves and pressurising the FA into giving them answers, it's not normal. It's mental.

"The Taliban took over an entire country in 48 hours. We've been waiting 13 years on a football club."
Steve, get mullah abdul on the phone.
Jesus! I cant view the article at work (thankfully!) but are they really comparing their failed takeover with a warzone where people are getting killed? If so they have hit an absolute low.
