Bedingham

Although they have the flexibility of having two overseas and Bedingham is available for the entire season so no coming and going. Perhaps more the issue is do we really need to commit to both our overseas being specialist batsmen especially when it's becoming more difficult to find players who can commit for much more than s couple of months.
Yeah, fair point, I was forgetting you have two overseas these days

Fair point but it's even more difficult to find a class spinner with IPL, CPL, not to mention the Graves Rounders Tournament.

Yes, and so would Clark, but back to that pre-season forum and I seem to recall that Bostock said he was pretty confident that if the Hundred was successful it would be extended to 10 teams of which Durham would be one of them. And, of course, we're told it's been very successful.
If there is to be an additional franchise I could only see it coming to The Riverside or possibly the south west where Gloucestershire and Somerset could share it. The rest of the counties have small run down grounds which don't really fit into the image of the franchise's.
Only problem I could see with it at Durham is would the north east public turn up to watch it.

Lots of people who've never watched cricket in their life will go- Mr Pinnochio Harrison says so.
