Whilst I'd have probably agreed back then my mindset is completely different now. Fuck looking at just consolidating in that league. We should be looking at the cups as our main source of possible success. It's the only realistic chance of proper success/silverwear.

Agreed. My point was though that the mags won’t give a shit tbh, and they won’t - as we wouldn’t have in their position

I would now tho. Which was my point. It's a ridiculous mindset to so easily dismiss the only realistic opportunities for success. I reckon a lot of mags share my feelings. I'd take a relegation from the premier league for a League cup win for instance.
