It's your natural position. A mid to lower league club. The sooner the deluded masses amongst you realise this, the happier you will be 👍

It's the reality for most clubs. There's a financial caste system where competition is deliberately stifled. Epic takeovers wouldn't solve this, it'd still be an essentially stunted system.

Uh oh John has his ruler out and has deemed it blatant cheating :D

Beauty of it is if you ignore the stupid ruler line, it's actually Wilson's upper body that is furthest forward given the way he's leaning forward.

It's offside as there's a slight gap between the lines even though the red line is clearly bigger than the blue line so trying to give an advantage to attacker also. Yet the Mags watching on dodgy streams won't have seen there's a gap between the lines and be crying like fuck about it and PL corruption.

Other lower end premier league sides have the same issue, and the same problem regarding injuries.

You are reliant on Wilson, Willock and to an extent St. Maximin (whose attitude I think is questionable). You lost two of those last season and survived. Same will be true of this season I think.
He was anonymous today, which is what will stop him moving to a top team. And give our tactics involve giving it to him and hoping, today was essentially always gonna be a loss.

On the other hand Villa decent, some good players (McGinn in particular) and a good manager. Might surprise a few.

Inept coaching? - yet they lick round Graham Jones - the coach- as if he was Rafa
Next time they win it will be Jones not Cushion Face who will get the plaudits

St. Maximin is only as good as his first few minutes.
If he beats his man, or wins a free kick, he will play well and influence a game.

Once he takes a hard but fair tackle, or his trickery is snuffed out, he's throwing his arms around and whining for the rest of the game and he might as well be on the bench. talented player, but that attitude needs fixing

Bruce's comments to the media just now are mind blowing #nufc
" We trained all week in dry conditions and today at Villa Park the rain was very wet which we didnt prepare for"
😂😂😂😂
Where is this, online report or in a video?

"If this gets disallowed there's gonna be a riot" about a minute in after the foul. Cue total silence from Mags when the Aston Villa fans break into cheers :lol::lol::lol:

Fair appraisal I would say. He needs to be out wide though not in the middle. Need to go 4 2 3 1 next game

Is that a genuine quote?

I can't believe he said that again!

To be honest, as a football manager these interviews must be tedious, cant imagine any of them like doing them or prepare what they say. So its hardly surprising the same cliches come out. "Concentrate on the league" was a classic when a team came out of the cup.

But Bruce does say it a lot

Thanks, problem is if as a fan (who has watched him half a dozen times) I can see this, so can managers. Unless his attitude changes, managers will set players up to knock him off his game. The more he whines and throws his arms around, the less referees will take him seriously.

Talented lad though, but I suspect he would be found out at a bigger club
