Given that Inter Milan are skint, and surely a better prospect, I don't understand why they don't.Personally would love them to buy Inter Milan and turn them into the best club in the world. Not that I want them in football, but the constant wailing and crying from Newcastle fans would be hilarious

They seem to be the low end of the intelligence scale on there, very anti Ashley. They are in the minority as proved by a 50k crowd last week.
Some are still not accepting the takeover is dead and very critical of lack of spending (only £125M in 2 years),
Bruce not being a big name who's won things elsewhere ( I genuinely think if Rafa had the same results they would still laud him) etc.

Well this thread became a f***ing mess. No longer about either club just people hailing abuse at each other.
I'm going to address what I consider the last reasonable post which is like 3 pages back and everyone ignored it.
Covid does appear to have hit Darlow very badly indeed. He's back doing VERY basic training but is some way off. I don't know how he can afford to even lose 2 stone was nowt to him to start with.

did think that, sharing training facilities and changing rooms ( ie work place ) its highly irresponsible. I wouldn't let them in the club until vaccinated.

It's not something I have heard of either. Plenty may have only had the first jab and contracted the virus. Even after 2 jabs you aren't immune to it.

Aye. The story I posted earlier in the thread - Bruce was saying Darlow was hospitalised with covid and lost 2 stone in like 5 days because of it yet the players are still refusing the vaccine.
Remember Saint-Maximin and Lascelles really struggling with it at the back end of 2020 as well so I’d have thought the players would want to be protected from it.

How do you know how many kids support Sunderland man?
My 4 year old does and there is plenty around me who go to matches with their kids - personally I think we’ll be ok long term. Plenty of promising signs at Sunderland and hopefully we don’t repeat the mistakes of the last 15 years again.
That’s the problem with social media - abuse, conspiracy theories etc have increased ten fold because the platform is there for everyone to easily spread their bile.
