I remember in India a few on here spontaneously combusting because he had dropped a batting helmet on the pitch. I missed it at the time and had visions of him standing on the wicket on a length and bouncing the helmet down causing untold damage. Then I saw it he was standing off the wicket and gently lobbed it to Pant who wasn’t watching and it bounced off the wicket and then rolled gently onto it. No one batted an eyelid.
