I'm sorry but you don't have talk some crap 😂

So you have no idea what football was like pre 1987?

Never saw England's world cup final. Never saw Cruyff Platini Pele or George Best ever score a goal?

Most ridiculous justification I've seen on here to claim NUFC are a big club 😂
To be fair to the lad, I was also born in 1987 and the only game I have seen prior to that was our cup final.

I can't even remember a game prior to euro 96, maybe I was dropped on the head?

Fans (wrongly) attacked Woodward's house and then they spent money.
Fans blocked the traffic at Chelsea and vocally showed their displeasure of ESL and as a result Chelsea were one of the first to drop out.

Does not have to be new owners.

Am I?
If you believe that the fans made those things happen then you truly are an idiot.

This is completely and utterly different to harking on about your clubs success over 100 years ago that literally nobody gives a shit about and you know that.

You don't think fans stopped the ESL

Source please? Or is that all in your head simply because of the graph I hoyed up yet didn't say fuck all about our position and spoke of the Mags position?

Actually, many didn't sit back - certainly not in the stadium anyway, gave up attending and supporting the club altogether.
Oh I'd love to see how many fans you'd have if you went down but then stayed down rather than bounce back up. Especially as you had to give away 10,000 free season tickets as many of the glory hunting spoilt '92ers like yourself have given up. If you'd finished where we have the last few season then I doubt you'd be crowing about fan numbers at all

If you wanna still wanna talk about crowd numbers then I'll just leave this here as you were just too young to know this happened in 1991.

Check out the 10,004 for the Oxford game in April 1991 and the packed terraces. You may think the video thumbnail is the few Oxford supporters scattered on the terraces but you'd be wrong as they're not jumping about at 40 secs when Oxford score ;)

You insinuated Chelsea pulled out because their fans protested.
Is that what you believe?

A simple yes or no will suffice.

Fan pressure from all the clubs protesting led to the panic from the boards and resulting in them pulling out - yes. It was the fans response that got MSM on board.
At the point the fans protested and some clubs were or had backed out, the PL had not even stipulated what the punishment would be (turns out utterly pathetic).

As a result of this, changes are being explored about ways in which to give fans greater say in their clubs - This led by the report by Tracey Crouch which would not have happened otherwise. CHairman's forced to issue apologies to the fans - stating how wrong they had got it all.

Do you genuinely believe the fans didn't play the key role in this - yes or no?

The Prurtest's at 12pm isn't it?

Should be a laugh. It'll be all over the National News.

"Toon fans anger after Bastard of an owner only spends £125M in 2 seasons"

Morons
Tomorra ain't it as it's Man Utd v Leeds early kick off today so Mags are playing tomorra

Absolute codswallop, if ESL had went ahead Chelsea would have been in it regardless of their fans protests.

The only reason it did not go ahead was because the clubs pulled about because of the fan response. Imagine thinking they didn't matter at all.
I have to disagree with you on this , the ESL collapse was instigated by fans , namely Chelsea , Utd and Pool.
Imagine thinking it wasn't ffs

Sure, nail me when it's due - happy to take it but don't come at me with this nonsense.

Also just to go back to this, sure I have seen clips on the tele or youtube etc but hand on heart I haven't watched many full games. Why would I? I grew up in an era of players like - Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo to name but a few. The standard of football is vastly better now so I'd much rather watch them than Van Basten score a thunderbastard of a volley in a rather poor game.

You know exactly where I'm coming from, nobody wanted it including all of Europe, you implied Chelsea fans made it happen. Put it this way if every other set of fans were happy for it to go ahead except Chelseas would Chelseas owner have pulled out?
Would he fuck, he pulled out because it was about to come crashing down, he didn't give a a fuck about Chelsea fans protesting man.

You are making yourself look like an idiot here - so what you are basically saying is that fan power led to it happening? So in essence, you are agreeing with me?

I merely named Chelsea because the images of the bus being held up and Cech (a former player) having to come and plead with the fans will stay in the minds of many.

Man City pulled out first but only because Chelsea had signalled it was their intention to do so.

'Roman Abramovich has led the way to withdraw the Blues from the competition after it was received with heavy opposition which saw fans protest outside Stamford Bridge ahead of their game against Brighton. As per the BBC who broke the story, Chelsea are preparing the documentation to leave the ESL'

You're the f***ing idiot.
If the ESL had went ahead Chelsea would have been in it no matter how much their fans protested.

Bruce telling the truth again.

They don't like the truth 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thinking of the pride you used to feel when and Sir Bobby Robson spoke, the genuine passion and love for the club, how they viewed Newcastle United as something really special

Bobby obviously didn't show enough pride when he spoke otherwise he wouldn't have phen covered in phlegm
