Usual sour grapes of 'He's not that good anyway' after numerous 'wouldn't it be funny if he didn't sign'.

Nowt spectacular, good value, keeps the club in the Prem by the skin of its teeth for another season. Mike's happy, Bruce keeps his job, every Nufc fan yawns for another season.
Looks like a very effective premier league footballer if the definition of effective is scoring goals and gaining points for his team.

Probably just does not fit the profile for this modern obsession with tika-taka midfield football that Arteta wants.

There is a possibility that Arsenals fans will be the ones likely to be yawning.

Aye, it is mad that £25 million is probably nothing in the grand scheme of things for a young player with not that much on his CV and not interesting any of the top six at all.
Enjoy 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Net spend though?

Does that include the millions they got for Rafa's Mutu?
Net spend? A concept invented by the Mags. Social media awash with them whinging on. Some of them see that club as being in the same mould as the PSGs/City's of the game and complaining they didn't sign Messi. They genuinely believe they belong in that bracket. I hope the relegation happens this year.

Somebody tell Pep Guardiola arguably the best ever manager this please. When they signed Grealish he said the deal was really only 60m because they'd already made 40 from sales (Net spend).

But sure, Sunderland fans know best.

An Everton fan went on about net spend when they were spending loads.

I didn’t read much/any dissent. I was incredulous as to why no one “better” came in but there is not that money sloshing about at the moment. Seems a decent lad who had the balls to go out on loan last season rather than stay in his comfort zone.

Lets hope its the only table we finish bottom off😉

Quite a few on here are getting into a bit of a tither because the mugs have signed a player who scored 1 goal in 40 games for Arsenal.

Willock must be watching this thinking “deck, what have I done? Arteta will be gone by Christmas!”
