I maintain I’d have played Overton over Curran, he’s improved and he’s at the batsman all the time and bowls very tight.

I don’t really get Curran tbh, don’t think he’s good enough either batting or bowling
 
This is it... People who don't like cricket are buzzing on it. Though the point made about the extra investment and - f***ing crucially - sticking a chunk of it on terrestrial TV is well made by @Steak Pie is fair. Stick the f***ing tests on terrestial and we'd be in a different f***ing stratosphere - we know that, we remember it! Even if it was just the Ashes it would transform the game in this country.
Exactly, get a couple of the Ashes tests back on terrestrial and see what happens!
 
I don’t think Curran is a bad player just not good enough for test cricket. He’s a good short over game player with his little cameos but think domestic level is his calling.
